Speak on this :ohhh:
Saban had agreed to a deal. Mack sabotaged it by fighting back and refusing to resign and no one in the AD had the balls to tell Mack he was fired. Hell, he had Joe Jamail (top booster) threatening the school with lawsuits.

Last time the leadership was divided. Some wanted to keep Mack. Some wanted to replace Mack with Saban. This time everyone agrees on firing Herman and hiring Meyer. The BMDs, President and AD are aligned on this.

Texas should always be elite. They have the biggest state outside of Cali and have the most talent and should easily be able to pluck talent from surrounding states. If Ohio State and Clemson can be elite no reason Texas can’t. But not even elite they haven’t even been a threat to compete or even been close to making the playoffs. That’s horrible for them.

There’s no reason Norte Dams can shake things up once every 5 years or so or Michigan State, Oregon, Washington, Auburn can shake shyt up and make the playoffs and Texas can’t?
I’ll believe it when I see it.

Hold up there were stupid ass boosters that turned down Saban for Mack Brown (who in hindsight wasn't bad)? :laff:
