Are you a cracka?

The left need the Black vote.

If you drop Kamala Wes Moore should be the pick.
I didn't really consider Distinguished Styles P. as a presidential candidate, but I also don't think he wants to leave Maryland yet. 2028 though? That could change.

Biden was supposed to be a transitional president, but Democrats had no one to transition to. Most of the candidates they had in mind soured in the public eye big time:

Harris - discussed here
Cuomo - sabotaged himself
Beto O'Rourke - guy with good heart who can't beat Cruz
Buttigeg- nonstarter for middle America
Sanders- proven he can't get people to the polls

even Newsom while could be popular elsewhere, his state hates him.

It's basically just Whitmer and Shapiro.

fair

I also hate this “they’re scared of a black woman!” meme…yeah…they might be. And whats gonna be your answer to that?

Kamala is a Hillary situation in the fact that you can't just straight say they are not likable people because they can hide behind being a woman and for Kamala woman and non white. It is a cheap cop out because there are tons of women politician who are actually likable lol.

The democrats could easily just rally behind Biden and have him resign 6-12 months after his inauguration. Gives Kamala 3 1/2 - 3 years to show her mettle, and if she sucks...well, just roll out a better candidate.

No idea why Biden being replaced so close to this election is even a topic of discussion within the party.

They need to put up or shut up, either put a viable candidate or rally behind biden... this wishy washy shyt and press leaks are not doing the Dems any favors :hubie:
It is not doing them any favors and Trump is not going to get above 46%-47% of the vote anyway . So this whole kicking Biden out movement at this late date is useless.

AOC said the quiet part out loud. The moderates like Nancy and Chuck have no plan for "After Biden" if he steps down. The whole reason why Biden is running for reelection in the first place is to combat Trump. Hilary lost MI/PA/WI to Trump because she was an unlikable Democrat and those white towns in the Rust Belt stayed home or went red with Trump. Biden brought all of the centrists and independents back in 2020 and washed Trump...

The Democrats have no real plan of who to run if it's not Biden. AOC exposed this. There would be infighting about Kamala. The billionaire level donors want to pick their own candidate. This is a cash grab situation from the top donors where they think they can come in and get their own guy on the ticket.

It's never going to work. Either they back Biden and try to defeat Trump (Trump was HORRIBLE last night...) OR the election will be lost and who knows what Trump does when he gets into office...

yeah like I said before, nobody who has a legit future wants to die as a Martyr for Democrats incompetence. So it's like wtf do you do? Because IMO I would just take the L and let things run it's course and start planning for 2028 BUT Trump is such a wild card you don't know how much in the hole he will leave the country to be able to come out in 2028. Being that 2028 things are a fresh slate, so you can just put all the blame of where the country goes on Trump and say the next GOP candidate (in 2028 will be more of the same) and it is time to take America in the future united, but idk.

ChatGPT summary:
The speaker is addressing the controversy and debate surrounding Joe Biden's performance and potential replacement as the Democratic nominee for the upcoming presidential election. Here are the key points:
  1. Debate Performance: The recent debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was poorly received, highlighting concerns about Biden's performance and age.
  2. Polling Concerns: There is anxiety over polling data showing Biden trailing in key swing states, fueling discussions about replacing him as the nominee.
  3. Timing and Logistics: The Democratic Convention is imminent, and logistical challenges, such as ballot access and potential legal battles, complicate the possibility of replacing Biden at this late stage.
  4. Internal Dynamics: There is significant division within the Democratic Party, with some power players and donors pushing for Biden's replacement, while others, including the speaker, express concerns about the feasibility and risks of such a move.
  5. Vice President Harris: The speaker emphasizes that replacing Biden does not guarantee Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee, noting significant opposition to her within the same group pushing for Biden's replacement.
  6. Election Strategy: The speaker underscores the complexities of running a presidential campaign and the risks of an open convention, which could lead to a protracted and contentious nomination process.
  7. Union and Ground Support: Biden has strong support from unions and certain demographics, which are crucial for the election and may not automatically transfer to another candidate.
  8. Polling Skepticism: The speaker shares personal experiences where polling underestimated actual performance, urging caution in making decisions based solely on current polling data.
  9. Concerns About Supreme Court Involvement: The speaker highlights the risk of the election being decided by the Supreme Court if legal challenges arise from a late nominee change, referencing historical precedents.
  10. Call for Realistic Consideration: The speaker calls for a realistic and thorough consideration of the stakes and consequences of any decision to replace Biden, advocating for transparency and grounded decision-making based on the current political landscape.

Considering Trump's speech, I'm confident we get a Biden landslide in November.

Gotta keep Biden because these other Democratic lames that want him gone are the actual problem and really Republicans in disguise. Either that, or they're really irrational and shouldn't be on this side of the aisle anyways.
