Naw Ty made some adjustments.
Took Pat Bev out and put Mann in. Mann was a better scorer, defender and agitator that junked up the series and gave them an edge.
They started double teaming Luka hard and picking him up at 3/4 of the court.
Luka still got his but also tired him out by the time the 4th rolled around.
Put Kawhi on THJ and Luka at times to disrupt our offense.
Put Zubac in until Carlisle had to add Boban.
Made the Clippers drive more than settling. They mixed that up perfectly in Game 7.

Too erratic to be relied upon, but yeah he's OK as a third option. KP is their only max player and he basically no-showed this series.

You hear the rumors that he and Luka don't get along personally but he's looked awful on both offense and defense. I'd stay far away from him

4-5 match up is usually even, so it was expected to go 6 games, 7 the most anyway. They could've folded up after losing game 5, but they didn't.

Luka needs to get in shape, get that endurance up & focus on cardio. Also, the mavs need a true number 2 for him or at least someone who is consistent, can create his own shot, and initiate the offense.
