.Eminem is garbage the majority of the time

.Recovery is Em's best work

.Big isn't top 5

.Illmatic is not even Nas's best album much less the best HipHop album of all time remove Summer on smash and Life is good>Illmatic Magic better too

.Big L isn't a legend

.Sheek and Styles>>>>Jadakiss album wise

.Jim Jones the best member of Dipset

.Nasir should have been Nas's best album by far but it was trash(underwhelming to be fair)

.Das Efx's gibberish was and is garbage even if it does sound fire

.Street's Disciple is trash and American way has one of the WORST hooks in HipHop history, Lil Pump has better hooks

.The beat for Carry the cross is trash and sound like Eminem got a $80 Casio from toys r us and clicked one of the purple buttons to play a generic beat and he added drums to it

.New Eminem>old Eminem

.Griselda has more classics(as individual members) than The Lox

.Black America again>>>Be(actually BAA is a hair lower)

.Jim Jones might have the most classics In HipHop(on second thought hell no but he has atleast 3 or 4)

.every real spitter Eminem has rapped with is better than him lyrically with a few exceptions

.

Jim Jones is the best member of the Dips???

Hell nah, he's Tony Yayo with a ghostwriter and better production.

The best member was Juelz until he got addicted to Syrup and let Wayne lapse him:mjcry::mjcry:

Das Efx wasn't that bad. Those two basically paved the way for these rappers now.

Streets Disciple should have been trimmed 2 14 tracks but I can understand that Nas was trying to get out his contract with Columbia.

Ringtone Rap was good for rappers to earn some extra residuals on the side.

Andre 3000 should have dropped a debut by now and stop being scared.

Field Mob shouldn't have signed with Ludacris. He fumbled the bag with Chingy. They should have signed with Grand Hustle instead considering that T.I was on fire or sign to G-Unit.

Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti were the down South Nas and AZ

I think Atlantic has insurance policies on their rappers.
This isn't unpopular...it's logical and more than Atlantic is doing it, too.

Now here's a TRULY unpopular opinion: Drake is the most overrated "rap artist" of all time and all sing-songy rap is trash ass bullshyt, especially his and Kanye's.

If Curren$y didnt release so much trap filler, he'd be a top 5 current MC ... maybe one of the GOATS
Off longevity, prolificness, and consistency, he really is up there:ehh:

He's lyrical as hell, but there are guys I got above him from a bars standpoint

Now as an artist, he's in my top five easily

Breh got music for days and is one of the few rappers that seem like a legitimately cool dude

Never have to worry about any Cornball antics being a spitta fan

Just the music speaking for itself

Big needs to stop being mentioned in the same breath with nas jay and pac…yea pac’s career was short but he had way more output and charisma so him being top 5 makes sense. Big had two albums on peak bad boy and by the history of all bad boy artists, it’s a given he would’ve fell off either on or after album #3

what the fukk was Wu tang even rapping about to be considered “so nice”

scarface is overrated, what does he excel in? He feels like a default diversity pick in top 5/10 lists

rap songs with an oversinging ass r&b hook >>> rappers doing their own hooks

music was better when there was less of it available and the industry had gatekeepers, it was also more enjoyable having a collective experience

Funkmaster Flex is dope and he’s hilarious and I always fked with him…I don’t like the putting hands on women stuff, ish is just a sliver above being a homo imo…but besides that that’s my guy, glad he’s runnin stuff up there.

Lloyd Banks ain’t that nice. Man I tried with the first one of the series he’s doing now and I just tried the new one yesterday at the gym. I respect him and his love for hip hop and at least caring about lyrics…but yeah, ehh. He’s nice of course…just not what some act like he is, to me. Buck >>>>>. Pause

J Cole is the best out of his group/class/whatever…Drake, Kendrick, all them… Cole is nasty with the raps and dope with the actual music
