His first two albums were good but they didn’t push the needle in the mainstream.
Once he went fully Pop for a bit, he did make sure that his homies ate. I’m pretty sure that he was upset when Goodie Mob named the album “One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show” and that got to him.
But yeah, that drugging did kinda set him back.
Luckily for him, he can still get bread for doing hooks.
When it comes to hooks, Cee-Lo doesn’t get his due.
