Lex Luger didnt "fall off" or "play out his sound" , he switched his style while his old sound was still in demand. His lessors fukked everything up. Around 2012/2013 is when really found himself and started to master his craft (this is a FACT)
Spaceghostpurrp didnt "jack" Three 6. He made ONE tape with that sound as a tribute. Everything before and after sounds nothing like Three 6 (this is a FACT)

I hate todays microwave music. Guys like griselda making whole albums in a night.
The way some people here make it seem ljke the music today is good enough to replace the 90s is comedy. Yall try real hard. Be easily impressed as a grown man brehs… today any and everyone is an artist. Before 2010 , people in the game/signed had ACTUAL TALENT; hence signing a deal. Today? A million untalented rappers flooding the internet… its too much to sort through.
GxFR is boring, their producer daringer is definition of mediocre, has shytty to no concepts that aren't bitten, and struggle to make anything more than what we old heads would call a mixtape track,etc.
Along with them and the new ug..
Alchemist is a tad overrated these days. He has legendary singles but his best albums are with boldy james and really arent factors. he comes off like a poor mans madlib / dilla to me THESE DAYS and imo is not doing what made me dig his shyt in first place, enough. He was doper in early 2000s. His conway and action bronson albums are ehhh. The only recent material that really impressed was his work with marci. Stick to marciano al and bring back the mobb chemisty. Then we talking al al al alchemist
no ug producer cept madlib and dilla has figured out the rza formula; and if i hear one more half ass bite from these new ug producers where some writer compares them to wu tang, i’m just not listening anymore. And the shytty thing is these rappers work with the same guys as each other. Be a son unique rapper brehs. Someone. PLEASE.
Theres one producer online now braggjn about releasing 3 projects this week. All 3 will have zero impact on the game. Stay humble bro.

Three 6 best album isnt Mystc Styles, isnt even Top 5 Three 6 albums, ESPECIALLY in terms of production ( When The Smoke Clears > Chpt 2 > Chpt 1 > Da Unbreakables > Most Known Unknown). But Three 6 has no bad ALBUMS (not comps lol, albums). All of them are good.

Greatest and best are not synonymous but they're used like they are. And you can't be one of the greatest of all-time if nobody cared about your music. You can be one of the best though.
West was a threat because that production/music was f’n fire. Low riders and flags and jeri curls and Chuck Taylors and all that ain’t really fly to me like that but to each their own. I associate hip hop flyness and style with the cazals and the bombers and the 4 finger rings and truck ropes and the 8-ball leathers and Sergio Tacchini velours, etc… NY made being fresh a part of the culture. Cali was more on gang bang timing…NY rappers was trying to emulate the drug dealer’s style

i would disageee (tho thats your opinion, just a thought here) Imo wutang forever has the greatest collection of verses in all of hip hop; i say its pretty much a fact that no album can go verse for verse with it as theres atleast twenty 5 mic verses on there.
yet all anyone talks about is the beats being lackluster and it didnt live up to the hype. That aside; Ive never see anyone celebrate the fact its lyrically untouchable. So thats my “wild” opinion i consider fact.
