Watched it for a 4th time. Yeah, Howard just disrespected the blonde goon one too many times. The goon asked him to call Julia to get her back to the shop he straight hung up the phone and after he locked him in that vestibule area Howard told him to shut up. After that and sitting on the floor in a cramped space for an entire basketball game dude had enough. He decided when the game started he was going to kill him. And what's funny is they were leaving and that wedge fell out of the door giving Howard the idea to lock them in there. If the wedge never fell they leave he wins the bet, pays them off when they are calmer and lives. Great movie.
Overall good movie. The first half was, the last half was
. KG definitely stole the show. I was thinking the whole time the opal was going to be a fake or something like that. I can't remember watching a movie where the lead character never got any kind of redemption. I never thought I would be so tense watching a basketball game in a movie
I messed up before watching it by entering a thread about random movie spoilers and someone posted the ending without putting in a spoiler. That's 100% on me, I messed up
. With that said, I had thought Howie was going to walk out the store and get popped by the guy who got the fake watch. He kept popping up randomly so I assumed he was going to Benny Blanco him, so the ending still caught me by surprised. Julia Fox is
status 100%. Also, I thought Cam'ron was in this. I was half paying attention for like the first 15 minutes, so I assume he was at the beginning if he was in it.

I just watched this finally. shyt had me standing up for the last 30 minutes. What a fukking adrenaline rush. Great ass movie.

Well they knew where his lady was going. So they all would have been over there looking for her at the casino. He wanted to protect her and his family because he calls his wife too and tells her to leave with the kids.
But yeah he actually got away with slapping that goon across the face before they hung him out the window. The look on Arno's face right before they did that was where you can see he no longer had control.
Howard maybe would have gotten away with it but they saw where ol girl was going to place the bet. And he had to protect her and the money. He really had no choice but to keep them locked up.
