Wow, thanks for this

So what's all this baseless rumors spreading around that Kyrie would have to undergo surgery every year on his knee and has sever arthritis and may not be the same player again. So all of that was a lie?

Sports reporters suck, man :what:

shytty reporters and Bron stans/Celtics haters that want his/their downfall

Yeah but brandon roy was basically Mike Giminski from back in the 80s. Both had lost all their meniscus in both knees so it was bone one bone
The great news is that kyrie's knee is structurally healed. We have cleared one hurdle. Some dude on another website said he broke his knee cap and had screws put into it like kyrie, and when it fully heals the screws will irritate other parts of the knee until you get them removed. Kyrie got tension wire removed so I'm wondering if he still needs to get the screws removed in the off season. Now I hope that the cartilage that cushions the joint that connects the kneecap to the femur/shinbone is still intact. If that ever wears down then you have a case where it's bone on bone. Judging by the news today it looks like Kyrie will be fine, but if he still needs another procedure he should get it done right after the season ends.

When Irving has missed time this season, Terry Rozier has taken advantage of his increased opportunity, averaging 17.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG and 5.5 APG in eight starts. His shooting (38.8 FG%) has been erratic, but his ability to facilitate and create off the dribble has gotten the job done for Boston, which has gone 6–2 with Rozier in the starting lineup. With Marcus Morris and Jayson Tatum taking on larger offensive roles, Brad Stevens has been able to get by without his superstar guard—and just might be able to do the same in a seven-game series. Jaylen Brown is expected to return Sunday, giving the C's another capable scorer to help shoulder the load with Irving out.

While the Celtics are not the same offensive threat without their All-Star point guard, they are just as pesky on defense when he's not on the floor. In fact, Boston's defense has actually been significantly better with Irving off the floor this season. Boston should be able to put up a fight even with Irving out and may be able to stall long enough for him to return to form and carry his team into the second round.

All is not lost for Kyrie and the injured Celtics
