No to mention the foods that immigrants bring to the table. In Queens you can pretty much eat any food from around the world.
That's true, but usually those restaurants adapt the cusuine to the american taste. American so called Asian restaurants are nothing like asian food... Italian American food isn't like real Italian food. More creamy, more fried, more industrial... Plus someone here mentioned European coffee compared to american coffee. Dude just in 2018 Starbucks finally opened a store in Italy, why they waited so long? Cause they know they cant make it where people really know about coffee. Plus decaf sucks, isnt that american shyt? Im from a country based on arabic coffee, that's the real thing, all you Starbucks suckers will stay all night awake after one zip :russ:

Yeah UK Drill started around 2013/14 but didnt come into it's own specific style/sound until around 2015/16 I'd say.

Do you think the U.K. drill sound took that sound from grime which precedes Chi-Drill?

If you look at what was in the sub-Eski and late grime periods, you’ll definitely hear the influence.

bobby shmurda came out in 2014 and that was really considered the first brooklyn drill, then guys like bam bino came out in 2015 followed by curly savv/dah dah and others and none of them used "uk drill" beats(which isnt shyt but DJ L ripoff beats) until 22gz took it to another level with suburban in early 2016 when he used an AXL beat and everybody followed from there

100%.

Bizarrely it never really gets spoken about but Grime has had a huge influence on the sound UK Drill IMO - but it's a given seeing as a lot of the guys doing UK Drill likely would have had older siblings/cousins doing Grime when they were youngers. Defo a lot of similarities between the two.

Grime in my opinion is more creative production wise than UK Drill, but UK Drill is more creative than MOST US drill/trap production wise.
