So after seeing this performance from Jones, we all have a little more perspective on what he could bring to a fight against Aspinall.

My take, Jon’s head movement in regards to punches leaves a lot to be desired. He got tagged by Stipe multiple times. But that wouldn’t happen against Aspinall…he’d get tagged ONE time and it’d be lights out. Tim has too much power. He also has a longer reach than Stipe so he’d touch Jon more than Stipe did- with Jon’s current level of head movement/blocking.

That said, as things stand right now, I’d still pick Jon. His fight IQ wouldn’t allow him to stand and trade with Tom anyway and once he gets him down he’s going to drown him like he did Stipe.

Aspinall is a legit BBJ dude I doubt hes food on the ground like stipe was

Y'all know damned well Dana gives bonuses to the guys who pose with Trump. It's simple. Pay your fighters like shyt. Then tell them you will give them a few thousand for a quick handshake.
No one has to be paid shyt. MMA now is full of right wing MAGA bootstrap weirdos.

Once Brazil and Japan lost their grip, and this became the land of mediocre Americans, this was bound to happen.

and of course tom isn't beating jon either :mjlol: we been saying "this guy is perfect to stop jon jones" for over DECADE now

if you want to protect your legends, don't let jones anywhere near them. probably hit alex with a standing armbar or some other crazy shyt....
the only fight to see is with alex, of course jones is taking his azz down and elbowing his head open

The main concern I see is the difference in footspeed.

Stipe looked like he was fighting with Timberland boots on. Tom has very quick foot speed. Jones would eat punches with every entry.
