DJ is going to get fukk you money relative to the weight class

I think DJ can beat Pantoja especially since he’s been training I watch his YouTube channel his grappling and BBJ has improved and he’s still quick

Pantoja in a funny spot because before he got a title shot he beat all the guys that somehow ended up ahead of him. He's beat most of the top guys for a second or third time and now there's no one to fight him. He kind of cleared out the division before he became champ. They had to bump Erceg up for a fight and now they had to fish a guy out of a different organization. I understand the call out but DJ is done done fighting. I don't know what they do next. Shout out to him for being down to fight anybody though.

Garry and rak man. Never seen a number 1 contender fight between 2 guys who looked they didn't wanna go 4 da win. 2 guys who didn't realize this was ur prime time showcase to fans to help sell more ppv numbers ur nxt fight and if ur champ.

In Ian’s defense, that’s the boogie man he took on 3 weeks notice that some silly number of Welterweights said ‘nah’ to. If he came out there wreckless trying to impress the crowd, homie would have got finished like all the rest.

IMO he fought that fight super smart. A little more action from both in the first two rounds would have been nice, but he fought it like a more technical version of Poirer vs Islam them first few rounds, trying to play D and keep from getting tapped.

He wants to be the goat of the division. That means he has to go 1 on 1 with the great 1. "DJ, bring to ass"
I get it, he wants a big money fight and he beat most of the top flyweights already. But DJ is retired...I don't see him coming back unless UFC makes him a really big offer and I don't see that happening.

UFC traded DJ away for Ben fkn Askren :dahell:

It's not their business model to pay big money for a one time comeback fight, but we'll see what happens.

It was a solid, if not spectacular match btwn Gary and Shavkat.

Shavkat nearly got finished w that choke, so the Boogeyman aura is gone for now, but styles make fights.

Gary is a highly technical, calculated striker and Shavkat had to change his preparation plans on short notice.

If Belal doesn't completely stifle him with wrestling, I expect a Shavkat v Belal fight to have more action and violence.

Let's see how Shavkat develops...when Khamzat went three rounds with Kamaru Usman, ppl said he was "exposed" and that he lost his aura. But then he came back and crushed Rob Whittaker's jaw for a dominant submission victory.

Shavkat wasn't close to getting caught in that choke. He had his chin tucked the whole time. Yeah he turned a little red but that's just the squeeze. Same thing happened to Ronda vs Liz, she settled and got out. The end.
