like said earlier that was a bytch move that Tony initially pulled at the end of the fight when Justin went in for the hug, but he made it right minutes later ... that initial reaction after getting destroyed like that and being used to NEVER losing likely fukked with his head in those initial moments.

One thing about Khabib, he gives all of his opponents the ultimate respect. I think he realizes that Justin is a bad match up for him and trains his ass off with a spectacular game plan. Trust, he will not be caught slipping taking a fight easy.

nah tony is certified. he has top notch MMA skills that he didnt use in this fight. he wanted to kickbox with a brawler that leveled up from that.

exactly. no level changes, just 5 rounds of him getting caught by counters. Imanari roll attempt shouldve came in the earlier rounds, or a regular ass takedown attempt/trip which undoubtedly throws gaethje off balance.
