I still think if JJ fought DC at HW......

It wouldn’t be a “clear cut slaughter” of JJ.

These 2 have fought 2 times..... studied each other well and I don’t JJ just gonna start wrestling him playing too much into DC game. I can see him doing what he said he did against Gus..... keeping his distance and getting his strikes in.

JJ is just too smart and young

The way you fight is the way you fight... no matter the weight class and it’s not like DC fights dramatically different at HW than he did at LHW. Plus he’s still older and like he said.... them training camps are VERY hard for him

Also per JJ words in his after fight interview, unlike that article.... he didn’t make it sound like he “wouldn’t fight DC at HW due to fear.”

He still thinks he’s beats him, but he wants to erase the doubt of DC being considered a LHW champ

The 1 major plus that Jones has over many fighters is that he's such a freakish athlete and krazy skills that he always has more ways to win a fight than his opponent. So when you go in the ring vs him u gotta guard for this watch that. Avoid this step aside of that and then boom u get popped with something else and it's all over.

Where does this narrative that DC was winning the fight come from? Jones out struck him and neither landed any kind of take downs. If the knockout doesn't happen, I see the same thing happen for the rest of the fight and a decision win to Jones. DC is a great fighter, Jones is just a bad match up for him and I don't see him winning a fight at any weight.
