Jon, unlike some of the fans posting in this thread isn't an idiot. He knows fighting Cormier at HW is an obstacle that he isn't prepared to tackle.

Jon Jones says he’ll never fight Daniel Cormier at heavyweight: ‘That’s his zone’

That's a direct quote from Jon Jones, yet some of these lunatics seem to think he is going to dominate Cormier while being outweighed by 20+ lbs. :what:
Plus Jon has ZERO reason to fight him at hw. Jon won both fights at 205. Why give the looser anytype of advantage? This shyt started at 205 DC wanted Jones at 205. IF he wants smoke a 3rd time and wants him to fight at hw, he needs to win at 205 and convincingly. Why should this man chase a cat he done whopped twice? To appease certain fans? Naaa

Hoping Jon doesn't get popped for this fight.

Jon Jones is probably the best MMA fighter of all time if you exclude his history of testing positive for banned substances. I'd say Cormier is just behind him. Would a 3rd fight settle things? I'm not so sure. Jon Jones will stop Cormier at LHW as his natural weight is 40 lbs above the limit. Cormier would destroy Jon at heavyweight. I wouldn't mind seeing a catchweight fight.
Nope not true. Yes DC would be in his comfort zone. But let's not act like DC was some poor disadvantage 205er. He washed everyone put in front of him outside of Jon Jones, so how much of his power did he actually loose? This man crushed Rumble who could easily fight at HW and carry that power. So back to DC and Jon, DC issue with Jon isn't lack of size he doesn't have , it's dealing with Jon style. Jon is a bad style match up for DC, Jon unorthodox style takes out of what he likes do. Some shyt doesn't just come down to x and o. Jon just a bad match up for DC period but, he isn't the only one.

No need to debate anymore. Jon himself says he won't be fighting DC at heavyweight. If Jon would be as dominant at HW as he would at LHW, he would have made the move a long time ago.

At the end of the day that's a professional in the ring with you.

And Cyborg ego and aggression tool over after she got dropped the first time.

She should have composed herself, assessed how Amanda could hurt her and clinched or took it to the ground and made it a technical match.
yea just like the ufc video game :mjlol:

Cool. I've acknowledge yes that's DC comfort zone. I said nothing about Jon dominating hw I said he's a bad match up for DC. And no he wouldn't have gone into hw a long time ago, why? For what? When he doesn't struggle at all to make 205. Guys move up in weight mostly when they struggle with weight cuts. Jon don't have that issue that shyt just fan fare. Just like DC not staying at 205 because it's a hard cut for him.

Anything would have been smarter than swinging wildly like an idiot after getting clipped and dropped like that.

After the first knockdown she should have respected her power.

It's a 5 round fight.

Look no further than Andre Ward vs Kovalev 1 in what someone is supposed to to after getting dropped hard.

Get your mind back together, clear the cobwebs and work your way back into it.

Her ego took over. Period.

Hey you a trained fighter. You and your team plan for everything.

A
B
C
D

Plan for all scenarios. It's her job to adjust not get up like an idiot.

After she got dropped the first time she should have realized what time it was and adjusted. Her head was clear enough to get up and charge forward, it damn sure should have been to take it to basics until her head was clear. That's what the greats do when they get caught.

Floyd got ROCKED by Mosley but his preparation made him ready for that moment. He ain't get in no firefight while he was dazed.

Props to Amanda.

When you get hurt bad like that, you fall back on your instincts. Cyborg is a bawler at heart and I think she was confident that if she caught Amanda with one it would back her off but Amanda wasn't scared of her power.

I would like to see a rematch cause I know Cyborg would fight smarter and she would go in with respect to Amanda's power and the fact that Amanda won't cower when she hits her like 99% of the women she's fought
