Alright, the dust settled. Ufc is in a tough spot. Their big money fight in Mcgregor's title shot was passable but the "fix" narrative is going to be the long lasting impression from it all. It wasn't as epic of a fight or dramatic as Robbie Lawlor vs Rory MacDonald, a much better fight which invested no stock into, and will only have people talking about Mcgregor, and not the sport, for maybe two weeks tops.
Now they have to try to sell and pitch Aldo McGregor again. They put so much hype into this fight that the only fight that makes sense for the Featherweight championship is Aldo Mcgregor. Allegations flying round left and right of PED use on, all their fighters really, but there's a lot of smoke covering the drug test of they're two top fighters at Featherweight, both are clearly having issues with their weight, and by the time they fight, if they do, the IV ban will be in place. Their big money fight isn't going to fly. They are royaly fukked.

I don't think there will be any fix narrative outside of a few people on a few internet message boards. There are no major sporting or MMA media outlets saying anything about a fix or even that fans are talking about a fix.

The Aldo fight is even bigger now, because Conor has finished arguably a tougher matchup for him, and a true top elite 145er. The UFC will ride this wave and the Aldo/Conor fight is going to make a lot of money for everyone involved.

The UFC had a great night tonight. The new production looked slick, all 5 main card fights were awesome, and the UFC got every outcome they could have wished for.

The card and production was on point. The UFC's production has always been  in the past.
