:damn:
Perfect use of a smiley. They look just like Rocky and Apollo at the beginning of Rocky II

You CLEARLY said they went on to be champions, when GSP had that ridiculous reign, and hendo was a 2 division pride champion. You lost.
Is English your first language?2 of those fighters are gone and 1is damn near out the door too, as ufc100 was years ago why would I speak of it and them in present tense? :what: clearly I was taking an account of their career but whatever

Alright, the dust settled. Ufc is in a tough spot. Their big money fight in Mcgregor's title shot was passable but the "fix" narrative is going to be the long lasting impression from it all. It wasn't as epic of a fight or dramatic as Robbie Lawlor vs Rory MacDonald, a much better fight which invested no stock into, and will only have people talking about Mcgregor, and not the sport, for maybe two weeks tops.
Now they have to try to sell and pitch Aldo McGregor again. They put so much hype into this fight that the only fight that makes sense for the Featherweight championship is Aldo Mcgregor. Allegations flying round left and right of PED use on, all their fighters really, but there's a lot of smoke covering the drug test of they're two top fighters at Featherweight, both are clearly having issues with their weight, and by the time they fight, if they do, the IV ban will be in place. Their big money fight isn't going to fly. They are royaly fukked.

Aldo/McGregor has just become an even bigger match-up. The buzz for this fight is going to be :wow:

Man. Fixing a fight is a felony. If you got caught fixing one, the promotion is done! It's not worth it to fix a fight, even thought they obviously wanted Conor to win.

It's real simple. Mendes had 2 weeks for this, got rocked with body kicks, threw his chips in to finish ona guillotine, got rocked more on the feet, caught a mean 1-2 on the chin, turtled up, and the fight got called.

Ocham's Razor. The simplest explanation is usually right. The UFC didn't even need to try to fix a fight and risk literally everything for Conor to have a chance at winning this. He's massive for 145, powerful, iron chin, and big reach advantage.

I'm really surprised at people seriously calling fix on this. It's way more likely that Mendes gassed from those kicks and/or the short camp and got finished.

I'm  and:mjcry: right now, this has been the worst sports summer of my life. It started with Vitor getting dominated by Weidman, then Brazil loses the Copa America & David Luiz gets benched, and now this.

At this rate I fully expect Mutante to get knocked out in the first 30 seconds tomorrow, and for Barão to miss weight again :mjcry:
