So Rza wrote ALL of ODB's lyrics?

Wow, didnt know that.

And yep. I'd rather watch and listen to ODB rap than RZA.

Was never really a fan of RZA's stop n go fast flow. :yeshrug:

He didn't write all of Dirty's lyrics. Dirty wrote alot of his own shyt as well. You can tell the verses he had help with because the ones that he wrote him self tend to be less structured.

Yes they were, but if you read or listened to any of their interviews they tell you that RZA had little to do with the crafting of that album. Album had no Wu MCs on it and only 1 track by a Wu producer (Mathematics). Matter fact, most of that album was done before they even signed the Wu deal.
That's the problem. If you're the part owner of a company you can make it happen for your boys to get the proper equipment they needed to succeed. In this situation this isn't like RZA trying to get rifkind to green light a deal, hes a part owner with his flesh and blood. We just need to admit RZA was into what would he thought would be beneficial to him and UGOD and MK wasn't high on that list.

Cap didn't have a ton of personality but he at least had some really standout verses like Winter Warz, and people knew who he was from the Ice Cream video and because he was billed as a co-star on Ghost's first album and was on the cover.

First time I'm disagreeing with you bro.
But Cap was a superstar, he could've been more successful than Meth had he kept the same energy (Ice Cream/Winter Warz)
He was super marketable. That's why he was a co-star on Ironman. He had next, he could've been the biggest of them all cause he was a punchline rapper (he called himself the 2Chainz of the east once and that ain't no reach)but he fell off a cliff skill wise after Ironman. (97 Mentality was his last spark). I dunno what the fukk happened to him.

*Samuel L. Jackson voice* Cap used to be beautiful.

Exactly. Again, one of my favorite things the Wu has done is the long 94 London freestyle session that is 35-40% rhyming and 60-65% dissing, snapping and arguing. One of the best insights into the group dynamic that still goes on to this day.

Dissing Deck trying to DJ, calling U-God "Ice-T looking muthafukka," Meth wanting everyone's per diem for being the only one rhyming, Ghost wanting to spit Meth's rhymes, everyone clowning Meth's solo drop, etc... but every time they sync up over a beat, it's the best shyt ever. That's how they've been and how they'll always be. Wu-Tang forever.

This is a gem :russ:

Still can't believe that Chez Chez Laghost opener is actually Meths from an old demo where he didn't even go by Method Man :wow:

Damn. Your opinion means a lot so I’m gonna go back and check out some of his old shyt. You think he could’ve been bigger than Method Man? Meth from early early on had that bigger than hip hop vibe to me. Like Snoop. If you told me Meth and Snoop would be in major movies I would have believed you. I don’t know if I could see that for Cap.

But you’re right he did have crazy dope punchlines, a good voice, good energy, and a solid flow. I liked him since I first heard him on Ice Water but maybe I slept on The Pillage.

GZA wrote for ODB too right?

ODB had to have written Raw Hide. The first time I heard that song I was just :mindblown: at every word from ODB in there.

Yea, GZA wrote shyt for him as well. I doubt anyone wrote Rawhide for him. That was pure, unadulterated Dirty.
