By the time the spinoff comes out the FF franchise will be over or there will be 1 more left for which everyone who's been watching is gonna come for since it's the finale. A Hobbs movie won't hurt Fast & Furious unless they put it out the same year as a FF movie.

:usure:
fukk that dumb comment..he said the Rock has little charisma...a man people are trying to put on the Presidental ballot for 2020:laugh:

True, but achievement is based on merit, not tenure.

The Rock and FF Franchise both benefitted from each other, it only makes sense that they explore what else they can do together. Rock did take over like the Green Ranger took over Power Rangers :russ: but let's not pretend that he didn't contribute more than his fair share to the franchise too. If ANY character was to get a spin off, its Rock's character.
I don' know what theater u were in for Furious 8..but Diesel got no reaction for anything except for when the Baby mama got shot...the Rock had everyone rolling from the opening football skit. Lol. And they got ultra loud during the Statham bantering between the two as well.

Game of thrones does the same thing but just in a time piece setting..

Welcome to what America likes..

Game of Thrones actually has shyt happen that moves the plot forward and characters on Game of Thrones actually has an arc.

Ballers still got it's main character doing the exact same shyt that he did when the show first started.

The most character progression is by a supporting character that went from selling cars to being a football exec.

He's more interesting than the Rock's character...:mjlol:

10 man team - co workers

Co-workers : hey man we try to collectively bargin. Management always tries to play us against each other or get us to negotiate seperately. We have found the best way is to present ourselves as a unified front, not let them seperate us, overall it works out for us individually and as a whole better because it makes all of us less expendable. Hope you remember this is they come to you.

Management: hey man we think you are the real star of this situation. The others just holding you back, man we got a contractor we want to bring in full time and we gonna give you a pay increase and make you the real star you deserve to be. Trust me man, we will do you right.

You: Sure thing boss, you can count on me boss fukk everyone else, I mean you would never do to me what you are doing to them.

This is what you are condoning.

You are presenting this without the overall context tho.

ALL of last year, everyone was talking about Rock and Vin Diesel beefing and ALL of the cast was taking Vin's side over The Rock's. You don't think that came off as disloyal to The Rock? The fact that his "family" were publically taking his opposition's side and making him the odd man out? Keep in mind, they might be "family" but there is clearly a hierarchy. Vin Diesel holds the most weight and gets the most money and he ain't sharing that wealth with his "family". So why should Rock do the same when his peers aren't doing it?

That whole Vin/Rock beef was writing on the wall of how this was gonna breakdown. If your "family" isn't gonna look out for you, you gotta do what's best for you.

Where was it stated that the collectively bargain? Reports of the simpsons cast do it. But I nvr heard nething about ff cast doing it. Are you making this up?

Also if you were talking about ty or vin doing this your analogy would work. As it stands currently management brought in two new guys into the fold to see how they meshed productivity wise with old team. Since the new guys did well management are letting them head another department while still keeping old team.

I bootlegged :mjpls:

But I agree with you :russ:. Rock clearly stole the show in all of the movies IMO and he's by far the most interesting character of the crew, it only makes sense that he'd be the one to get the spin off franchise.

He keeps bringing up collective bargaining like Vin isn't part of management

It is....check the critic reviews...Ballers always and always been a shytty TV show...

I've watched 2 seasons of that shyt to see what the fuss about...

Only thing that is worth watching on Ballers is the bytches...there's no character progression, the plot doesn't really change...

The show is really about showing off fancy cars, outrageous parties and sexy bytches...
Critics don't always get it right. It's not award winning television but it's entertaining. If it was trash HBO wouldn't let it get to season 3.
As another breh said, Entourage says hello.

You're operating under the assumption that a franchise in its dusk and a spinoff can't coexist. And if collective bargaining is the core of this franchise then there's wild hypocrisy as Vin Diesel is surely getting a bigger/two check(s) than everyone else.

And the end of the day this is Tyrese being Tyrese and if he hadn't said anything this talk about the morality of a business opportunity wouldn't even be had right now.

What cheat code?

When rock signed on in fast 6 vin used his executive producer clout to put in his contract that he cant take an L. Thats why he flying off cliffs and comes out only with a dirty shirt and scratches. Thats why in part 7 he spent the whole movie in a hospital bed

Top 4
Tyrese should concentrate on trying to get that Green Lantern role.

How much longer does he expect his role in the franchise to last? He plays one of those characters that can be killed off screen and it wouldn't bother the audience. And I say this as a dude who likes him as an actor.

I like The Rock too, but his output of work has been disappointing. He's got a lot of flops. Remember Hercules?

Then again, Vin Diesel has a lot of flops too.

Hercules
Budget $100 million
Box office $244.8 million
