Man I'm just gonna say it. They ruined tyrese's character in the franchise. Used to be a badass but they butchered his character starting in fast and furious 2009 or whenever it was.
Now it's just the "go get that paycheque" character they have him performing as.
"badassness" is relative.
Tyrese is a bad ass compared to Paul Walker but compared to Vin Diesel and The Rock, he just another dude. Its not credible for him to be out alpha'ing dudes that can whip his ass and Vin basically controls the direction of the series, he ain't taking a backseat to anyone.

Yo, yall nikkas trippin downplaying the rocks affect's on a franchise/movie when he attached. In the last couple years or so his only fumble was baywatch. Other than that he's been on a roll lately and one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood. Also the tooth fairy and a lot of other shytty movies he did were due to the fact that he signed a shytty deal with Disney for like 5-10 movies. So I can overlook that. The series turning into the avengers and adding rock and now statham is what made it what it is today. Tyrese just coming off as a bytch tbh. Hobbes and statham spinoff makes sense since they been the only likable/good parts in the movies for a while imo.

U have no clue what you are talking about. The Rock is one of the highest paid actors period. He is like top 3 paid black (even though he claims Samoan too) movie actors and is the highest paid black TV actor per episode and like the 2nd or 3rd highest paid TV actor after the the stars on Big Bang theory.His own thing

I don't know why people try to act like The Rock is a huge A-list actor. Almost all this nikka movies have flopped or been marginally successful. F&F is Vin Diesel and Paul Walker's series.....point blank. Tyrese can pull rank because he was a part of it going back to 2003. I can see why he or the older cast members would be upset at the Rock trying to ride their wave and co-opt the series they started and brought back to life (F&F 4 didn't have The Rock in it). Go start your own original non-F&F series since you a big star and all
Dude grosses like 400k an episode of Ballers before taxes. To put it in perspective. Anthony Anderson and Tracey Ellis ross gross like 60k an episode of blackish on nationally syndicated TV.
The Rock is A list point blank. Abd with these beings facts. I can see why tyrese would feel a way. Rock bout to get a huge bag off the franchise meanwhile everyone else prolly isn't seeing even 40% of what the rock can ask for.
Edit: The Rock was the highest earning actor period in 2016. $64 million dollars from acting on movies. Dude is damn near a billionaire breh.

Except for the fact that this "new guy" has some of the highest star power of everyone in the series. Guarantee you far more people would be interested in The Rocks character having his own movie than Tyreses would. This is envy and nothing more, hes full of shyt with that whole "were a team" bs cuz you know if he were offered a solo movie, hed jump on that shyt.

The 2nd FF, the one set in Miami with Tyrese and Paul Walker still my favorite in the franchise.
Paul and Tyrese had some nice chemistry together
Definitely the funniest of the franchise and the best buddy movie. You could tell those 2 were cool in real life.
