I don't know why people try to act like The Rock is a huge A-list actor. Almost all this nikka movies have flopped or been marginally successful. F&F is Vin Diesel and Paul Walker's series.....point blank. Tyrese can pull rank because he was a part of it going back to 2003. I can see why he or the older cast members would be upset at the Rock trying to ride their wave and co-opt the series they started and brought back to life (F&F 4 didn't have The Rock in it). Go start your own original non-F&F series since you a big star and all

It's not "their" wave because they are just actors paid to do work. They workers. If Tyrese wants to decide who does what he's the one that needs to create and own something

They tried to spinoff with Tokyo Drift to screw over the main cast, they tried to integrate it in the end with the poor testing with Vin Diesel.
All that said The Rock really needs to fall back with the group this is the only Hollywood franchise that has a diverse cast, that prints money, Rock bout to blow it up for his own personal ego.
If that Shaw Bros /Rock shyt takes off everyone except Diesel in the OG series will become expendable and the Rock will be used to whitewash the whole series.

By the time the spinoff comes out the FF franchise will be over or there will be 1 more left for which everyone who's been watching is gonna come for since it's the finale. A Hobbs movie won't hurt Fast & Furious unless they put it out the same year as a FF movie.

People really trying to say the Rock makes good movies...

I kind of get it. Some new guy comes in and gets his own series based off your many years of work and effort. You'd be lying or a straight up fool if you said that wouldn't piss you off.

True, but achievement is based on merit, not tenure.


The Rock and FF Franchise both benefitted from each other, it only makes sense that they explore what else they can do together. Rock did take over like the Green Ranger took over Power Rangers but let's not pretend that he didn't contribute more than his fair share to the franchise too. If ANY character was to get a spin off, its Rock's character.

The rock and statham was the best part of that last awful ass film but they couldnt breathe cause vin got a cheat code in his contract
