Full disclosure I would never tell that poor woman what I’m about to say. And I hope she doesn’t read anything online with people blaming her….But maaan this is why women need to stay out of men’s disputes.
1- continuing to argue with the shooter outside of her husbands presence
2- distracting your husband while he’s engaged in a threat.
Two fatal flaws in this situation. (Along with the killers actions and her husbands).

In the longer video the husband was out there but was getting dressed. The was by the steps. The wife came out after.
She also ran back in the crib and closed the door on her husband. He maybe could have gotten back in if she pulled him and then closed the door. Can't blame her for that though.

My building is filled with old people. It’s very quiet.
Residential or buildings it’s all about the type of people that live there. Plenty of videos on the coli of residential homeowners killing their next door neighbor for small reasons.
Only commenting to say with those names, they gotta be Haitian. Those names are Haitian as hell!
This is a terrible situation though. No reason for it to have escalated to gun violence!
Edit: Just watched the video. Damn he straight up executed the father and stepson. Looks like he walked up to the father and shot him while he was laid out to make sure he was dead. Too bad NY doesn't do the death penalty anymore. Either way that fool is going under the jail. He cannot claim self-defense @Stuntone because he escalated the situation by going to their house with a gun over noise. They also said he was kicking the door, which would have been captured on camera. That fool is going to prison.

If a person says, im going to kill u or I'm going to get my gun" Yes u can shoot them in the back. Those scissors in the face is pretty much enough.
Besides that, everyone is on edge nowadays. So much shooting going on, you shouldn't be threatening anyone. Just do it, is the motto here.

No you cannot. As soon as dude walked away he chose to fire anyway. That is self defense nowhere in the country. Yes he threatened but then he deescalated by walking away. You go after dude at that point you escalated something that was dying off. Not self defense. Louisiana is lax on this note but that's Wild Wild West lax. If he did this shyt down here he'd be in Angola with the quickness.
