It wouldn't help him anyway, the issue is his brain bouncing around in his own head. Wearing shyt outside a helmet does little... especially since the brain itself is very sensitive and susceptible to concussions easily now.

The cap won’t prevent him from getting another concussion. It’s not even certified by the equipment committee that tests this sort of stuff. This reminds me of when Dale Earnhardt died and folks wanted all of these safety precautions and equipment when they already had that in place. The equipment can’t and won’t stop your brain “smashing” against your skull or moving back and forth
