You cannot make decisions for a grown man. You can scold, school and pour your heart ouy, at the end of the day, a man will do what he wants. I know alot of dudes who lost respect from their friends, family and peers because they married a hoe or the neighborhood, against everyone else's advice

The Dolphins/NFL get the final say stfu

I hope it works, but this wouldn’t surprise me. Your brain is still getting rocked side to side violently.

Just like how headgear doesn’t do shyt for boxers except limit cuts. Their heads are bigger targets and their brains still get rattled.

Exactly and Nothing prevents your brain from bouncing around in your skull when you hit your head on the ground.

Meh, it's his life and I'm not sure how a guardian cap can stop your brain from doing the electric slide inside your skull. The cap covers the outside basically putting a softer helmet on your helmet, there's not really a way to stop your shyt from getting rocked on the inside.

I do feel this is a situation where the league needs to step in and save himself from himself. They do no want or need the PR nightmare of continuing to allow this man to go out there and throw up gang signs Everytime he gets concussed

One more and they need to step in and stop him

There is a saying you can carry the horse to the stream but you cant force it to drink water, the same analogy applies here, he is a grown man, an adult, if that is his decision so be it, if the consequences are having a mush brain and being incoherent in his 30s or 40s then he is willing to accept that choice

yeah, at first i thought research showed they worked but that turned out to be research from the NFL itself. i read an interview with a doctor explaining that the problem with a concussion isn't the impact itself, it's the impact making your neck snap back and smacking the brain into the skull.

drivers don't get concussions racing cars because even though they're crashing at 200mph, their necks are kept completely rigid.

the problem for tua is just that whether or not a guardian cap would work, he's had so goddamn many concussions. it made me think about that shooter in louisville who was a great high school athlete but kept getting hit in the head - to the point that he was wearing a helmet to play basketball.
