This ECW special is dope. I really wish I got to watch ECW more growing up. I only got to see it here and there because the station that I use to catch it on only showed it sparingly lol. But I remember reading about it in magazines and I had the video game that I rented once and never took back I played the hell out of it too. Early on, I use to think the matches were shoot fights lol.

So i'm currently in the mists of watching ECW 1998, and as dumb as Bam Bam rejoining the triple threat is. This BamBam/Taz match from Living Dangerously is great.

WAIT! They said the Sandman/Sabu match was too violent to air on PPV but have to air it because Taz/BamBam broke the ring. Have they never seen a New Jack match?

That's not even the topper, they took 10-12 minutes to fix the ring and best they could do is put some caution tape on the ropes and have it hover over the big ass hole in the ring

Don't let nostalgia and WWE rewriting history fool you. ECW was terrible.

Nah it wasn't terrible, even if you aren't a fan of their style of wrestling, they definitely had their moments. I saw an Eddie Guerrero/Malenko match in ECW from like 94' or 95' that was better than any match in any company anywhere at the time, a legit 30 minute wrestling clinic. Then you take in account that the legendary RVD had arguably the best matches of his career there. Also Taz was dope and a legit force in ECW, and then you had the whole Raven/Dreamer storyline. ECW definitely wasn't terrible.

I haven't liked a single ECW PPV as a whole, they're really one match cards. But with that being said I'm only up to 1998, and maybe they pick up late '98/99 IDK

No. They dropped off considerably after 1998, and had already dropped off considerably from the actual peak of the company, which was in 1995-1996.
