WWE Talking To Sting, Jake Roberts Update, New Show Idea For WWE Network

WWE Talking To Sting

It's that time of year where reports and rumors of Sting heading to WWE begin surfacing. This year is no different, as The Observer is claiming WWE is in talks with "The Icon" Sting. Sting, who has not renewed his TNA deal yet, has admitted to having multiple talks with WWE in the past about working with the company. He said that he's even gotten very close once or twice to making a deal.

New Show For WWE Network
WWE is planning a "Where Are They Now?" type of show for the new WWE Network, reports Wrestling Observer. It's expected that the show will catch up with former WWE stars, taking a look at what they're doing now. These types of pieces have already been a regular feature on WWE's official website, so this would simply be an extension of that.

Jake Roberts Update
Jake "The Snake" Roberts' appearance on the "Old School" edition of WWE Raw was a one-time deal, reports The Wrestling Observer. This doesn't necessarily mean he won't appear in the Rumble — something he has been lobbying to do for months — but that deal has not been worked out at the time of this writing.

In a related story, Roberts has been telling people that the reason Dean Ambrose was smiling during that final segment on Raw was because the snake defecated on his chest. CM Punk apparently told Ambrose and it caused him to smile while he was laid out to close the show.

I like the idea of the "Where are they now?"

A Backstage Story On Ryback & Titus O'Neil

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

As you may recall, JBL recently made reference during his commentary onWWE TV to an arm wrestling challenge between Ryback and Titus O'Neil.

The story backstage is that O'Neil challenged Ryback to an arm wrestling match, with the loser donating money to a charity. Ryback reportedly backed out of the challenge. Many claim Ryback was scared he would get beat and didn't want other talents backstage to see that happen.

More on this as we get it.
You can't make this type of shyt up :dead:

so i'm watching Vince Russo 2000 timeline, it seems Bret Hart made his concussion situation worse by continuing to work knowing he was concussed and had a hardcore match with Terry Funk taking unprotected chair shots

That whole shoot was the biggest crock of shyt ever...so many lies.

So...we are supposed to believe that vince russo had an elaborate scheme...and he Jedi Mind Tricked hogan into THINKING that the bash at the beach screwjob was a WORK...and EVERYONE ELSE ON EARTH including jimmy hart thought it was a SHOOT...and he SOLD THE IDEA OF JARRETT laying down and screwing hogan as a storyline...TO hogan...so it would be believable...and it was all to get the belt on booker t...

What he misses big time is that wins and losses matter WITHIN the wrestling universe and its suspended reality

Really excited to see if Warrior makes it from now until WrestleMania without saying or doing something unforgivably horrible.
