The stupidest part is that Cohen did not go to jail for something he did for himself. He literally went to jail because of Trump.

That's the crazy part to me. The shït he's testifying to has already been corroborated by other credible witnesses. Even some who still support Trump for one reason or another.

He is at the heart of the crime so his contributions are still important, but the prosecutors did a good job of methodically laying out the paper trail before getting to Stormy and Cohen.

'Dictator Douchebag' Sounds Familiar, Cohen Says​

Cohen very calmly replied to a line of questioning about his social media use. Asked whether he called Trump a “dictator douchebag,” Cohen responded, “Sounds like something I said.”

Asked whether he was following the case closely on the news, Cohen demurred, saying he turns on the news because he is interested in current events. But he affirmed that the trial was personally important to him.

Cohen also affirmed that the prosecution repeatedly asked him to stop talking about the case publicly, as far back as 2021.

The Steele Dossier Enters The Record​

Blanche is asking Cohen about a meeting he took with the office of special prosecutor Robert Mueller. It was before he decided to flip on Trump, but Cohen could not recall the precise date. He said he probably took the meeting to give misleading or inaccurate answers in order to protect Trump.

Asked about the Steele Dossier — the document suggesting Trump conspired with Russia to win the White House, among other things — Cohen said he wanted to express to Mueller's team how he felt it was inaccurate. He had never been to Prague, as it stated, he said. Cohen affirmed that he said the Steele Dossier had turned his life "upside down."
