They couldn't and that's why they were asking for federal help.

And Biden did absolutely nothing.

1. Governors round up immigrants
2. Send them to New York, MA, Chicago and elsewhere.
3. Mayors ask for funds in response.

YOU.....starting count at number 3.

ME....started count at number asking you how Biden could’ve prevent number 1

Thanks

I remember you from the SOHH days. Still acting 20 years later like you're entitled to talk to people anyway you feel like. With the demand they provide answers to your questions. With that constant mentally of being smarter or "fatherly" to everyone on the board.

Here's a simple answer to number #1.

Before they started rounding them up and putting them on buses, send your teams out there to coordinate the the level of people crossing the border.

You could easily coordinate federal action to keep the buses from departing and don't act like you can't do that.

Let's not act like we didn't know this was taking place long before these people landed a thousand two thousand miles away from the border of Texas.

He knew this was taking place the entire time and all he did was call a stunt.

If the president of the United States and his Department of Homeland Security and the immigration Dept that reports to him knows that migrants are being loaded up on buses to drop into major cities, are you suggesting with a straight face that he could have done nothing in his arsenal to prevent those buses from departing and leaving leaving him with a PR disaster?

Once the first bus of immigrants dropped you were supposed to deploy every tool at your disposal make sure the second one didn't happen.

He could have easily coordinated with the governors of those blue states to make sure those buses didn't result in dropping off in the cities.

For some reason we seem to think that Presidents don't have that level of authority but somehow when Trump gets in office he seems to be able to do whatever he wants and wields the power the position has.

Funny how Biden didn't have the power to do anything but in one day Trump does.

And we're here now because of that.

Btw. I'm not a callous weirdo lib, so I don't want people to be deported in mass.

In fact, in my ideal scenario is we don't sit on the sidelines like a bunch of bytches and put a hard stop
to what the state is allowed to do.

But many people are kinda fukking dumb so their first response to an incredibly fascist possibility
is "Lol, I"mma let it happen".

If you're black in America, that boot gon' stomp a hole in yo' ass too.
Don't ever, EVER, EVEEERRR think shyt is sweet.

Soooooooo they can come over the border in mass and in caravans but can’t go back the same way?

Any black person who is not Michael Jordan is always at risk of whatever this country has thrown at them so we already have our heads on a swivel.

But let’s be real, this migrant shīt negativity impacted black people more than anyone. The CAC contractors and factory owners loved it because of the easily replenished cheap labor with little circumstances.

Meanwhile these same migrants move to black areas, kids going to schools in those same areas and packing these communities with their crew in droves.

That's what I'm saying these dudes talk about somewhat about what they could do to you next?

We got 400 years of proof of what they do to us. Kick rocks with that talk.

It's a indirect way of saying

You should care about this because you shouldn't be apathetic to that and you should spend more energy on a topic that clearly doesn't yield the results you want.

AKA fight my battle for me. And when it comes time to vote for folks who won't have this happen, I'll decline in the future to do so.

There’s nothing to remember. I stay focused and to the point while people just blab and answer their own questions.

I have a journalism degree. I was trained to get to actual points, which is why I had to repeat it because you seemed unable to get to actual point. And one thing that the Republicans have mastered is that people like you only start counting to Democratic reactions to Republican tomfoolery. Sort of like the “Biden crime bill” that many seem to bring up… Never seeing that was in response to Ronald Reagan drugging the black community to fund his illegal war. That seems to be a habit and Im One who asks people to address the initial or root cause of something.

So let’s address this. You said Biden should’ve sent a team at the border. That requires funding. Fundinf for that was available through a Republican and Democratic bipartisan agreement that the House came up with. There was going to be money put aside to do the very thing that you’re speaking on. Donald Trump told their Republicans to vote against the bill They helped create and approve.

Are you willing to see that Biden was hamstrung or do you want to leave as you came?

For some reason

Trump doesn't seem to be hamstrung by "funding" or rules or administrative redtape

But somehow some magical way by and to lesser extent, Obama seemed to be.

Please do tell why.

Why do rules and policies always seem to holdup Democrats and not Republicans?

Because one utilizes the power they have, while the other plays cautious with it.

Who helped kill the bipartisan border agreement which would’ve helped prevent those caravans from coming in?

I want people to start addressing actual policy

:mjlol:

You know damn well they act deviously and their intentions were to not do a gotdman thing on it and capitulate to Trump. And it worked. And folks did talk about it non-stop from a policy standpoint.

They tanked it when Obama tried it too. Just like they punked his SC picks.

Dems keep whining about "fair" is exactly how they ended up in this position in the first place.

Republicans when they don't get the policies they want change the rules and appoint judges to do their bidding.

Democrats go whine about policy, procedure, and the rules on TV

Because he now has a majority house and Senate. Biden only had a house majority. Do you understand how government works?
Do you Understand how bills turn into law?

Funding comes through bills that are turned into law. You need to have the majority of the house in the Senate to approve a bill in order for a president to authorize and sign it into law. Trump has both the house and Senate. I don’t think you understand how Government works asking such a question.

There you go again with your father knows best routine.

Biden had a slim majority and 2 kamikaze pilots in AZ and WV who stood in his way. Kamala was the split vote as VP.

I want you to picture in your mind that Trump wouldn't have got everything he wanted even with that slim majority with a straight face

I don’t think you understand how policies turn into law. All these machinations of how people are tinge were complaining when Republicans don’t know how to govern. Trump got the Senate to kill a bipartisan border bill. And here you are focused on how folks reacted on television, but not the actual mechanisms of law.

Nothing I say is me being smarter than anyone. I just have a genuine curiosity on how law works and apply it to conversations.

Biden had a house majority. He did not have a senate majority. What are you arguing? Let me guess. machin was a real Democrat to you? Siena in Arizona?

It doesn’t take anything fatherly for me to speak on this. All it takes is a civics class that my 13-year-old currently takes. That is not a “fatherly” super power.

It was 50/50 with a split VP vote. This is going nowhere.

You'll get thru the next 4 years your way and I'll do mine.
