They had a border deal that the republicans rejected so they could create the false narrative that democrats didn’t care. The Democrats then created a system through executive orders that significantly curtailed immigration.

The only reason immigration even became a problem was Trump ended the Obama policy of mass deportation that made him one of the largest deporting presidents ever. In fact the person that Trump hired to take over deportation use to work under Obama.

So no illegal deportation was not a democrat problem it was a Republican problem the Democrats got blamed for because they acted p*ssy and didn’t confront the republicans on their bullshyt….. like normal.

Let me add to this, Trump was able to endure tougher border policies because of Covid.
