Only white people live in the suburbs? Does that mean that the blacks that live there are c00ns? Do the blacks that live there want low income housing next to them? Explain your logic here.
I got mixed feeling on this issue. I’m in the burbs in a great school system. I pay a lot to live this way. People who can’t afford to live here shouldn’t.
Makes Sense to me. Black People live in the Burbs too
People are full of shyt they don’t want section 8 in the community but will be mad at this.

Y'all seriously let him lie to your face like this and just eat it up?

The rule was an anti-SEGREGATION rule. It was intended to ensure that cities ain't red-lining Black folk into ghettos and blocking their access to other neighborhoods. You let Trump frame an anti-discrimination law as helping out "poor people and criminals" and just believed it hook, line, and sinker.

In July 2015, HUD promulgated the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule pursuant to the Fair Housing Act. It requires cities and towns which receive Federal money for any housing or urban development related purpose to examine whether there are any barriers to fair housing, housing patterns or practices that promote bias based on any protected class under the Fair Housing Act, and to create a plan for rectifying fair housing barriers. The intention is to promote equal housing opportunities and level the playing field so that all neighborhoods provide the quality services and amenities that are important for people to live successful lives. Civil rights groups hailed the rule citing decades-long patterns of government-sponsored segregation and discriminatory practices, while conservatives decried it as "social engineering."[2][3][4]

The 2015 rules required cities and towns, in order to receive funding from HUD to document patterns of racial bias in their neighborhoods, to publicly report the results every three to five years, and to set and track goals to reduce segregation.[5][6]

Overturning THAT, and low-key implying that all Black folk are poor and criminal and that no good middle-class white suburbanite should want to live around them, is what y'all are caping for.

TRUMP is the one who just did that and you ate it up.

The law isn't about low-income housing. The law is about reducing segregation. HE equated reducing segregation with letting those poor Black folk live too close to proper White people, and YOU are helping him pull that shyt.

Look at the comment right before this and see what the actual law is.

Maybe them jack ass black folks should move back to the neighborhood and stop ruining black society. Middle income and up black people left the neighborhoods em masse for the burbs and it destroyed them. Whole tax base gone, alot of houses never sold so they ended up being torn down. Businesses didn't have enough residents to support. Which is why we have only lil restaurants in a lot of these neighborhoods. No furniture stores, hardware stores, etc. Just lil food spots.

White folks secured the funds to build giant suburbs and black folks followed them after integration. Know they should be paying them taxes and buying diapers and toothpaste from the black part do town.

This ain't even matter black people ain't even got neighborhoods anyway.

When Republicans said they were installing prison reform, The Coli was quick to act like "Hmm, maybe Trump is on to something". This is the okidoke Im talking about. There's so much more blacks should receive, but shyt like this feels short. Is it good that black Americans had the AFFH Rule? In most variables, yes. But they're a lot more I feel like needs to be done that the Democrats will not acknowledge.
Like what? Name some items that Democrats haven't addressed. You saying both sides are the same.

They keep on saying "you vote for the Democrats and nothing happens", yet Democrats work for 8 years to establish difficult things and then in 4 years republicans remove and defund everything. It might take another 24 years to get something like this in place. You can't just allocate a lot of money, whole problems, agencies and build property in a year, it takes long planning and other structural factors. This is the big difference, it takes the democrats years or decades to implement stuff and Republicans months to repeal and destroy.

Almost like building a sky scraper, takes years to build it, a minute to blow it up.

Why would someone who spent a lot of money on their property want low income houses right next the them.
Worked well in New York and San Francisco, super safe cities.

It's affirmative action for reducing poverty, racism and other issues in the long run.
