Cats really want to think Republicans, the party of the rich, want to make policies to stop hiring cheap skilled labor. :heh:

Massive engineering shortage stateside is wild to say seeing how many engineers can't find jobs and had to move into other professions.
So you mean to tell me now we need more engineers? :mjlol:

They just want cheap engineers on the dollar and people overseas will do it for half or even less $50k in their country is basically a millionaire.

Look at Qualcomm, more than half their engineers LIVE in India:

NVIDIA engineers: about 1/3 LIVE in India.

All these companies you'll find it very similar.

fukking SHELL Oil Company nearly 1/4 of the engineers are from India:

TEXAS fukking Instruments, same.

Not Indian Americans mind you. Actually from and live in India.

Look at Exxon Mobil, another oil company. As many engineers combined through India, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. as there are in the United States.

We are BUILDING these OTHER countries' Middle Classes.

It is what it is at this point, the only thing you can really do is go hard in a field you want to be in

Truth be told it ain’t enough black people trying to get higher education for real to really compete in certain areas

I'm excersizing my rights, and if that means i stay home and the system burns then fukk it. no tangibles no damned vote... i mean it. :francis: if you can find a candidate that speaks to you then vote your own self interests...:manny:
Props for exercising your rights, but let's be clear, Republicans are actively trying to tear down rights that you probably take advantage of every day. So you don't find it in your self interest to make sure that they don't have power and continue rolling back your rights?

Yeah basically.

Only option really is to try and be the best in order to stick out. As there's more competition now, your career is really your responsibility.

i keep telling yall immigration is only a partison issue in speaches.

In action, both of them are same on immigration. Obama deported more illegals than Trump did. and yet people act like Trump is harder on them because he likes to demonize them as rapists
Truth.

Anyone that lives in a border state like Texas, Arizona etc., BEEN known that Democrats and Republicans are on the same page when it comes to legal and illegal immigration.

Dems take the humanitarian angle and say "we gotta save these poor refugees." The GOP says "go back home" but that's just grandstanding for white people...especially those far away from any actual border shyt.

Seen numerous MAGA white boys pull up in their big azz trucks, rounding up Mexicans (and other Latinos) at the catch-out for various construction and other blue collar gigs. "Build The Wall" is just to appease Karen in Iowa and Bill in Schenectady.

It's always been about race and class, not either/or. The 1% uses real racial issues to get white people hot and angry. Then they use scare tactics and buzzwords like "protect, maintain, border security, small government, radical liberals" and other language along with the customary bald eagle flying around in political ads. This gets half the population ready to fight.

The 1% sits back while we debate swirling, cop killing, CRT, immigration, LGBTQIA+, guns etc. Then they stack the courts with judges that have no interest in class warfare and will maintain the status quo: tough on poor people crime (burglary, dope, assault etc) but soft on rich people crime (anything white collar involving money/biz/securities). As it stands, a person with money can just file unlimited appeals until they find the needle in the haystack judge that lets Mr. Rich Guy off the hook. Pookie robs a bank and he gets 10 years. Market maker commits fraud and he MIGHT get a fine.

Another person gets it. I been saying this exact same thing every time in posts like this.

The 1% want to remain in office/government so they can live like royalty, spend a whole bunch of money of vacations and events, give money to their buddies etc. Tax the people here, tax the people there to pay for it. Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, etc. ain't doing shyt but capitalizing off their government title to boost their popularity. They're basically socialites.

Then when people ask why shyt getting more expensive/worse they point at immigrants and Black folks to rile up and get re-elected.

Re-election means another term of royalty.

When you have legit IRS people say they target regular people rather than the wealthy because wealthy will hire lawyers and basically drain the governments money that's when you also know how much of a sham it all is.

Peruse at your leisure.

I am not about to look through no twitter profiles(don’t have a twitter) of people who more likely than not is fake

If dems support the immigrant situation and if reps support the immigrant situation, what do you call that

I call it capitalism at work.

But Trump and Trump Supporters are populists - specifically White American Majority Populists - and that "trumps" the idea of bringing in/keeping Foreigners to do works that Americans can do.

They not finna touch this one, like they don't touch the Project 2025 stuff.

It messes up their narrative
Have you also notcied they don't comment on Trump's numerous mental lapses as well but are alsways quick to jump on Biden's gaffes

If they were truly "bothsides", they would have smoke for Trump and maga as well but it seems the smoke only blows in one direction I wonder why

Yup. Also look at those teams who live in the United States for those companies.

A whole lot of Indian Americans.

That makes the transition to full-on Indian Indians easier.

It never happens all at once, but it's the slow and gradual build-up, completely planned by these companies mind you.

First they see the potential international talent who'll do the work for cheap, then they gradually start hiring the ones who live in America.
Then they start asking them if they know somebody, chances are they'll have a connection to their country.
Word gets around there then that's all she wrote.

I guarantee Latin America is next. We're already starting to see it.

ABET, the organization who gives accreditation for American Engineering schools has started giving the seal of approval to many South American and Central American Universities which indicate their engineering programs match the quality of the ones stateside. This has really started happening about 5-7 years ago and you're starting to see more and more South American Engineers pop up. My company just hired two: one from Colombia another from Argentina. The Ecuador team got cut during layoffs, but we're trying to keep the Engineers we hired from that country because it's cheap, skilled talent.
There is a neighborhood north of Cincy in the Mason area where the headquarters of Proctor&Gamble is. I’d say in the whole apartment and condo the population is 80% Indian with most of them working at P&G. Them dudes have legit communities all throughout the country and they’re just getting bigger. Putting us to absolute fukking shame.
