Cats really want to think Republicans, the party of the rich, want to make policies to stop hiring cheap skilled labor. :heh:

Massive engineering shortage stateside is wild to say seeing how many engineers can't find jobs and had to move into other professions.
So you mean to tell me now we need more engineers? :mjlol:

They just want cheap engineers on the dollar and people overseas will do it for half or even less as $50k in their country is basically a millionaire.

Look at Qualcomm, more than half their engineers LIVE in India:

NVIDIA engineers: about 1/3 LIVE in India.

All these companies you'll find it very similar.

fukking SHELL Oil Company nearly 1/4 of the engineers are from India:

TEXAS fukking Instruments, same.

Not Indian Americans mind you. Actually from and live in India.

Look at Exxon Mobil, another oil company. As many engineers combined through India, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. as there are in the United States.

Go ahead and check these companies' Linkedin's pages out. See what country engineers live in and what the American Engineers look like:

We are BUILDING these OTHER countries' Middle Classes while we're decreasing ours.

They let the CEO's and mainly shareholders/stakeholders do this (as some of them are stakeholders themselves)

Man, fukk these people in government.

This is all facts, I used to work for popular sneaker retailer. Fukkin ALL of IT was from India, and most lived in Indiea.

Trump being soft on immigrants kind of goes along with the both sides narrative, does it not?
Exactly very little difference between Democrats and Republicans politicians policy wise. They just go about things differently. Republicans are blatant while Democrats are more sneaky.
1. Both against reparations
2. Pro tax cuts for the rich
3. Open Borders
4. Ignoring the poor
5. Bad trade deals
6. War mongering
7. Puppets for Israel
8. Getting rich while in office
9. Taking money from lobbyists
10. Racist

@JT-Money at what point did Democrats and Republicans both become beholden to corporate donors? I was thinking of the JFK/Nixon election and it made me wonder if even back in 1960 were both parties already beholden to an oligarchy.

Country has always been corrupt. But you occasionally have people like FDR come along and even the playing field a bit.

But the 1990's is when Democrats decided to turn full heal. And get more of that special interest money. They passed everything Republicans couldn't concerning trade, bankruptcy, crime you name it. Many of them like Biden voted for the original H1B visa bill.

The country is basically for sale at bargain prices. Will probably disintegrate once social unrest kicks off. Homelessness has skyrocketed and not slowing down.

My advice is buy guns lots of them.

He still can't pass legislation that's up to Congress. But he can just leave the border wide open like Biden did.
:yeshrug:
He doesn't need congress to bring in more H1B workers. He (Elon, David Sacks, Vivek and the rest of big tech) can get what they want by exploiting cap-exempt pathways, visa renewals, and through strategic use of the sycophantic pro-business leadership he installs at DHS and USCIS who will have the power to reinterpret existing rules and regulations. It's weird how you do everything to "but Trump won't/can't do x" to avoid criticizing him and shifting the blame to Democrats. I hope those tax cuts are worth it.

Right-Wing Figures Allege Censorship on X Amid Visa Controversy

During the Biden administration, denials of new H-1B petitions for initial employment were at 4% in FY 2021 and 2% in FY 2022, “the two lowest denial rates ever recorded.” Denial rates for continuing employment was 2% in both FY 2022 and FY 2021, down from 7% in FY 2020 and 12% in both FY 2018 and FY 2019.
