Dude those women aren't running for president. Far less people are going to see that panel. He's clearly scared and unwilling.
That's exactly what happened.
His behavior is completely abnormal and he shouldn't have been president the first time around but we have to deal in reality, a reality where the NABJ thought it was a wise idea to not only platform him but also put him before a panel of Black women journalists that WERE NOT prepared to deal with him.
Trump isn't some elusive character, we know exactly who he is and these people STILL couldn't adequately prepare. This was the picture of incompetence.
If your claim is that he has nothing to gain by debating Kamala, what exactly is it that he stood to gain before going into today's event?
He fielded questions from 3 Black women journalists and this is the response from the likes of Roland Martin.

Unless I'm mistaken, he has already backed out of the debate unless they do it on Fox. That is the evidence everyone is talking about.
Journalists are good as asking questions and politicians are good at answering them. Debates also have moderators and rules unlike today's situation. I wouldn't conflate today with Kamala and her ability to prosecute, especially given her preparedness and approach to the Kavanaugh situation.

He didnt "dog walk" anything. He was bytchy, catty and evasive, at first he tried to re-direct the question back to the reporter asking her to "define what DEI is"
Clearly was unprepared for the question, trying to buy some time to come up with a fluff answer.
In any other timeline, any other candidate for president acting like this would get laughed off the stage their candidacy would be over... but these arent normal times obviously... this type of shyt is just "trump being trump" or someshyt

He has clearly been making an effort to reach out or at least have the appearance that he is reaching out to black people in spaces that Democrats don't.
We've been seeing this from Trump. That's why he had been making an emphasis that he will be appearing at the event and Harris wanted to appear remotely due to scheduling.

I'm not sure why people struggle to be objective. The same shyt happened following the debate with Biden. Trump lied the entire debate and yet it was that very same debate that sealed Biden's fate.
They would have been better off putting Roland on the panel but that's probably not a popular thing to say given the context.
