Graduation is his best album and it aint close.
Reasonable Doubt is the only “true” classic from Hov. True classic meaning top 10-20 type of albums
Blueprint is overrated, but is is classic, but not a classic in the same vein as RD, liquid Swords, ATLiens, doggystyle, etc.
Black Album is not a classic. American Gangstercould be considered a classic like blueprint is a classic
I don’t love All of Kanye’s music, but he’s innovative af and proooobably he has *more*classic albums, but *none* of them are better than Reasonable Doubt.
Also, another day another Hov legacy slander thread which will undoubtedly go for 10+ pages.
FactsYeah
Before he lost his mind he was damn near batting 1000
Bruh.. he got more classics than Reasonable Doubt.
Lets not do this.
it changed it for the worseIf thats your only criteria, how is 808s not a classic?
Right. Folks act like you resurrected biggie and shot him again if they disagree with what you call a classic. Or that it has to be a top 20 album of all time or something.Classic is not some sacred term. It really is loose terminology that refers to any album that aged well and some semblance of impact. There are a lot of albums that are classic, but not many that are truly iconic.
Blueprint has two songs I definitely don’t fukk with but I still label it a classic.Drunk and Hot Girls and Barry Bonds take it down a notch
My least fav is actually mdtf but only because i think it lacked soul. Like its the quintessential studio post modern rap album. All the bells and whistles.
you do not beat this
of course this is coming from someone with almost 200 posts in the Nas threadNeither have any Classic albums
Nikkas continue to mistake great and genre changing
