True or False: Ye has more classic albums than Hov

I wasn't even gonna say anything. But yeah....

What's funny is "YEEZUS" came out in 2013....this site was up 2012. So you can pull up the threads when the album came out. Most people thought that album was trash.

Well in fairness, I don't think an album needs to be immediately hailed as classic, although a great deal are. I just think people reward Kanye's artistic attempt more than the execution, and heavily rely on production influence instead what the album delivered on it's own merit.

In any order, LR & Graduation wash out Blueprint and Black Album

American Gangster and 808s wash itself out as unique concept albums of sorts

MBDTF and Vol 2 are both classics to me.

Yeezus vs 4:44 -> both are polarizing albums, but some consider those classic.....

That's about it.... the rest aren't classics for either person.

I think they both have four undisputed classics.
CD, LR, 808s DF are certified.

I love Gradutation but I wouldn’t consider it a classic.

Hov has RD, Vol 2, BP, TBA.

You could argue that WTT is a classic which would still leave them tied in my opinion.

Nah, of course not but the general consensus in real time was the album wasn't good. Never heard anyone say it's a good album in my life. But now it's classic.

You could argue Kanye has three.
You could argue Kanye’s only classic is MBDTF.
RD is solidified.
BP1 is solidified.
If we are calling CD and LR classics (which are his only other albums in contention), then Vol 1 is a classic, TBA is a classic, AG is a classic.
If you set the bar high, it’s Jay.
If you lower the bar, it’s Jay.
If you start calling Graduation and 808s classics, we evaluate hip hop differently.

Now if you want to broaden this out to pop music, I’ll gracefully bow out.
