That’s pretty stupid when Roland lived with a woman for almost 10 years, and the very first episode wanted to take Purple to a brothel before the case even started.
IDK man, DL nikkas do that shyt too. I'm watching episode 6 again and when Wayne says Tom can't be ruled out yet, he had secrets....Roland's face and expression pauses for a second like he got secrets too :lupe: watch that scene again when they in the car and Wayne gets out to walk

Welp, I might just be throwing my theories out the window now :skip: I don't know shyt.

Anyone notice the attention laid to cigarettes this episode? Starts with Amelia and Wayne smoking, then O Brien putting the cigarette out, after that Wayne smoking again and gives his son one, and then finally Harris James putting out the cigarette while watching Tom infiltrate the Hoyt mansion.
Don't know what smoking has to do with any of this, but I noticed it. Also noticed that Wayne smokes the same brand as Rust did in Season 1. Could be just a Pizzolatto nuance or him trying to connect Season 1. Who knows? I don't think its just irony that Elisa's show is called "True Crime"....the exact same name that Marty used in Season 1 when he talked about writing his own book toward the end. Pizzolatto being Pizzolatto. :manny:

Just watched The Ringer/Flat Circle brehs recap for EP 6.

:mindblown: at the end where they talk about "The Woman in the Wind" which is noted in Amelia's book as Roland is reading it.

"Dan Mallory, author of the bestselling thriller The Woman in the Window under the pseudonym AJ Finn, has admitted to lying about having brain cancer for years, after a lengthy New Yorker profile accused him of a long history of falsehoods around his professional history and health."

Art imitating life :wow:
