Cigarettes gotta symbolize something.

Secrets? Regret?
Remember episode 5 when Wayne smoked one after visiting that dude (teen bully in 1980) at home who blamed him for his life gone wrong, in the 1990 timeline? That was regret

The picture in the top left corner.
Harris had a Pic with hoyt I guess with a dead animal and that shyt reminds me of that picture

One of you DVR nikkas screenshot that scene in the episode . I think I'm cooking with something :damn:

The 5 kings from season 1 are Real :damn:

Didn't they think there was some rich nikkas behind that carcosa shyt in season one ?

Am I tripping or not?

That hillbilly nikka in season 1 was just a fall guy

Just like one eye nikka this season
If it was anything of note...I'm sure them Flat Circle nikkas will point it out...BUT It's becoming clearer and clearer that these seasons are connected...tho the characters themselves probably won't ever figure it out. At least not this season. Having them looking at the website about season 1's investigation confirmed they're in the same timeline.

That meth head is a pivotal character

It's lookin like he set up Tom (The missing girl Julie's daddy). He got him to go to Hoyts compound...makes a phone call so they expectin him and that security cop dude gets him in the pink room.

I bet what happens is after that interaction at the cafe...the detectives end up at that compound and Hayes winds up killing that security cop (he was a dead ringer for the cat Hayes said sorry to when he had that hallucination of all the people he killed).

Matter a fact... maybe they take the meth head to the torture barn. He gives em the ol pinkhouse set up except they kill em before he can make the call and give Hoyt & them the heads up...and that's how they get the drop on the security cop.

Lucy dies somewhere in the timeline...My theory is that Amelia has a lot to do with that.

:whew: 2 more episodes to go

Brah, how the cousin gon' set Tom up when the only reason Tom knows that he's in town is by overhearing the detectives at the office talking about his offer to Hays and West? He would have just cut out the middlemen and went straight to Tom if that was the case. He just a feen who had legitimate info that was looking for some quick cash to cop, period. Now, how he got all of that info is another story...

I gotta think that at some point, Lucy let it slip while she was down in Vegas getting high with that Hoyt hush money she was drowning in. Dumb bytch got greedy, hence the whole "these people don't renegotiate", and they set her ass up on the faux overdose tip.

Amelia knew the mom was suspect all along too after that whole "children should laugh" quote. She starting to get a little too close to shyt too. We obviously done found our man with one eye. Question is, is he up to no good or was he just on some Michael Jackson extra kid friendly ish since he seemed genuinely upset at Amelia for profiting from pain. And who was the alleged white woman he's been seen with?

If he is in on it, probably some white heaux from Hoyt foods who we know (which was hella telegraphed from jump) is the main conspirator now. Question gon be now is how deep the rabbit hole goes. Got cops in they pocket clearly. Gotta imagine they got that politician too.

Seem crazy it's only 2 episodes left. Seem like they bout to wrap a lotta shyt up real quick like when they could've been revealing more earlier on in the season. Seem like the boy Tom bout to get sent to the upper room too. Prolly that "incident with the dad in 90" they kept referencing earlier on.

"This season [episodes] 4&5 have a different tempo than 1-3, and 6&7 have their own pace, and then 8 is its own thing entirely" - Nic Pizzolatto

I wonder if the 1980 and 1990 timelines will wrap up next episode and then the finale will be entirely 2015 Hays and Roland trying to take down the Hoyts.

The cousin's out for money to support his habit...maybe...Whatever he's doin it for, we know he ain't doin this for justice. Tom aint got money for info...at least he's not the givin money for info type...he aint got shyt but vigilante justice. Thats why he went to "the middleman" instead of going straight to Tom. Not to mention he alluded to not being coo with Tom...talkin shyt and callin him a cocksucker at the diner... Saying "we aint been buddies" to Tom at the hotel. Speakin of which...why would he be staying at his old known hangouts if he was really underground?
And then a police officer who may be involved in this pink house network, who certainly knows police officers who are involved in this pink house network...let Tom out his cage to run around the police station too? Minutes ago he was a very unstable person askin to see Lieutenant West all crazy and then they just allow him to run up to LT Wests office all willy nilly...I think not. He didn't sneak in that mothafukka...someone allowed him in to wander...possibly hoping he'd overhear some shyt. Like they did earlier in the season when he "accidentally" saw the picture of Julie. Aside from that...even if they didn't mastermind that part...if he didn't plan on setting him up which is just as likely for all I fukkin know...Obviously he had to give up some info to get his ass out the fire. We know he gave up Hoyt's name. As soon as Tom leaves the hotel...he could pick up the phone to call them pink room nikkas to give them a heads up (he's obviously connected with them or else how else would know enough to be able to steer Tom in that direction). They were expecting him.

WHOA big catch made possibly.

When Amelia was talking to that runaway girl, the camera pans outside and shows that blue truck and the landscaper driving it.

Some people saying that's Mike Ardoin, the kid who told them about the 2 adults handing out the dolls during Halloween :ohhh: Maybe he helped her escape?? :ohhh:. Or is apart of the whole thing. This show never shows someone randomly for no reason, we know that much.
Yeah I caught that too.....there was a definite purpose to the camera focusing in on him....I think that orphanage or someone close to it has some sex trafficking goin on......gotta be a point in showing him and what the girl said about what happens to girls down there.

Finally watched the whole 6 episodes so :wow: This Season 3 is up there with Season 1. Season 2 just trash as fukk.

The Pink Room :ohhh:

Was Hoyt tied in with Tuttle, from season 1?

And what do they do with these young girls? Sexually exploit them? Involve them in ritual abuse? Kill them?

Some things that are becoming clear: Lucy ( the mother) sold Julie to Hoyt, then kept asking for more until she was killed. The fat neighbor always by Lucy's side in the 1980 timeline (I think her name is Margaret) is the contact person with the Hoyt conspirators.

One question. Is Roland gay? The way Julie's dad(Tom) looked at him and talking about how Roland knew secret things about him. Maybe they ran into each other in a club? It would explain the way Roland went out of his way to help him.

And maybe Roland is Tom's alibi and Wayne outs him?
