One thing I haven't seen mentioned. In the diner scene Dan O'Brian says "If you guys are looking for her then they already people out there looking for her". One or two scenes before that Amelia was at the shelter already looking for her.

Pretty sure he means the Hoyt family/the police on their payroll breh. Amelia is just trying to solve the case for her new book.

He wasn't talking about her specifically, he was talking about "them people", maybe she's "them". Or has Amelia been totally ruled out as a suspect?
:what: that's what I just explained in the other post b. By "them" he meant the Hoyt family and the police on their payroll, Amelia has nothing to do with the kidnapping.

I know that he meant the police and security!!!!!! I'm just pointing out that she was already looking for her, just like O'Brian said someone would be.

That’s pretty stupid when Roland lived with a woman for almost 10 years, and the very first episode wanted to take Purple to a brothel before the case even started.
The Hoyt family is demons and they part of the season 1 group. Same state .
Is it stupid? It could mean dude is in the closet and trying to play up to the macho cop. Roland clearly has a connection with Tom that at times seems a little off.

Roland normally takes a lot of shyt but all it took was for Hays to say they should go and check out some gay bars for him to leave Hays in the rear view as he drove off, maybe he would've been recognised. Also perhaps finding out about Roland is something to do with how him and Hays stopped contact and also why Roland wants an apology from Hays.

Also could be a reason why it never worked out with him and that woman and how he never married or had kids.

So why bring up Amelia like Dan was talking about her in the diner :patrice:
