I tend to agree with that, but they were careful to not allow us to see. Not sure why....unless Hoyt is in the pictures too. We'll see, I suppose.
I DOUBT THE PINK ROOM
IS MORE THAN A PRINCESS THEMED
BED/TOY SET.
TOM MOST LIKELY SAW HER IN SOME PICTURES ON THE WALL
WHEN HE WALKED IN.
Maybe....Like the pictures we've already seen of Isabel and her daughter....IF that was her daughter..Tom most likely saw what looked like to be a portrait of Julie sitting on the lap of Hoyt's daughter.
THE BLACK LADY IN 2015 THAT USED TO WORK
FOR THE HOYTS GAVE US ALL THE PIECES TO SOLVE THAT PART.
ITS CLEAR MR. JUNE AND HOYTS DAUGHTER
ARE THE INTERACIAL COUPLE
WHO KIDNAPPED JULIE
TO REPLACE HER DAUGHTER.
ALL WE NEED TO FIND OUT NOW
IS WHAT HAPPENED TO WILL.
Or something way more sinisterTom most likely saw what looked like to be a portrait of Julie sitting on the lap of Hoyt's daughter.
what you basing that on? I'll admit sometypes I'm doing other shyt while watching this. Need to stop that, might run back the whole season before Sunday.
@fukkyalifestyle TOM WAS KILLED BY HARRIS.

I remember someone sneaking up on him not Harris tho. Damn, I gotta rewatch this shyt fukk am I doing with my life. You would think if they killed Tom they probably killed Lucy's cousin too.DID YOU NOT SEE HARRIS SNEAK UP ON TOM
IN THE PINK ROOM?
THE REAL QUESTION IS DID TOM KILL LUCYS COUSIN
OR DID HOYTS PPL CATCH UP TO HIM?
There has to be a twist if he's saying something like that.Man I can't wait
There has to be a twist if he's saying something like that.
I'm thinking that we have seen Hoyts daughter all this time and it's that fat woman who still lives in town after everyone moves out all this time. And the biggest twist of all is Hays is the man who took over for Harris after they killed the man. He started investigating when that girl started showing up at his house asking questions about the case. He wanted to find out what she knows and who passed along that information so he can tie up some lose ends for Hoyt.
Hoyt took him in that car and forced him to snuff out evidence or his fam would get murdered. His wife didn't follow along with the deal and continued to write books about the case so they took his daughter on the day he dropped her off to college. His wife still ddint drop the book so they get her killed too years later. After that, he loss his mind and forced himself to forget everything.
His memory will come back halfway through the last episode and in order to protect his son, he has to snuff out the last leak and that is Roland who has been passing info to that interview broad.
On Reddit they've uncovered a couple of inconsistencies, such as the photo Amelia looks at in the house isn't the photo she receives at the doorstep, which wouldn't be a big deal if it was meant to make the story more complex, but the same photo shown in the house is the photo Hayes has later on in the episode. It's clear they've made a few careless production mistakesFam that's not all....
Remember the scene where Rust goes to talk to the girl in the psych ward, and she spazzes out? There is a picture in Marty's bedroom that matches the wallpaper in that psych ward.
Again, it was the production staff being lazy. Obviously nobody knew that when the episode aired, so people assumed it was another clue tying Marty's wife's family into the cult.
That's why I when people criticize people for ODing on theories in the season 1 thread. Half of that was the show's fault.
Fred.
Exactly. The fun is coming up with theories and seeing if they stick. People who complain about theories just lack imagination; they'd rather have someone hold their hand during the experience.part of the True Detective experience is posting or reading wild theories tho. I wouldn't have it another way
Man, Dorrfs scowl in this show is already legendary. Dude look like he's about to steal on someone whenever they show him scowl like that.Lieutenant you've got a..... dark look about you
Nothing has been solved. You can't make assumptions about anything not shown on screen. We don't know who killed Tom because we didn't see what happened. We don't know the motives behind the kidnappings either. We will have to wait until they show us before anything can be summed up.
THIS PART OF THE CASE HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLVED...
IDK WHY PPL ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT A PEDO RING.
THE ONLY THING WE NEED TO FIND OUT NOW
WAS HOW DID WILL DIE.
