Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
wasn't marty drinking while retelling most of his "account" ?

Is
his testimony even admissible? :ohhh:
NONE OF THIS IS TESTIMONY

they just gathering evidence... it's like when they canvas a neighborhood and get witness accounts.. until you march your ass on that stand, and have been read your rights as a defendant and/or witness and/or victim... NOTHING you say is considered sworn testimony

now what they can do is say "that's not what you said to the police that night" or some shyt like that.. or bring up the video to prove he said otherwise... but that's when you bring up the drinking and all that

they think marty is still cooperating and telling the complete truth.. so they trust that he'd repeat all this again in court.. plus the many times he's already told this story over 17 years

I was so shook anticipating what was in that truck when Marty went to check. My mind was racing at what it could be. When Cohle was interrogating ol boy and he mentioned the Yellow King, I was like "You did it now. You know not to talk about the Kang." Then Cohle starts slapping him up with a 10 hit combo. I was dying from laughter.

There's something so delightful about seeing someone get the fire smacked out of them. I know Marty was heartbroken. He was too emotional for my tastes to just blow dude's head off but it definitely solidified their partnership and friendship. Marty not going back really impressed me as well.

I walked away from this episode stunned. At times, I didn't who or what to believe and I really appreciated that feeling. I'm enjoying watching this show immensely.

In the ocean where the sharks be at
That last scene in the school with the black stars and the woods around the window makes me think that the killer has some place where he's specifically dropping the bodies.

:obama: Same thing I was thinking. Especially when u consider that convo Rust had in the holding tank wit ole boy. He told Rust that the yellow king was still out there spillin blood & Rust was like, so where the bodies at? After Rust left they showed him looking at an old billboard sign wit a missing girl on it. Killer stashing them bodies somewhere.

Lot of foreshadowing in this ep.

Man anyone know how to upload images to the site from an iPhone? I found some pure uncut evidence . Look for a picture of Carla from episode 2 she told them about the church. Look closely at her... Notice anything ? Also watch the sermon again that Joel Theriot gave in that tent. Watch the uncut version that posted in this thread. Notice the way he makes the symbol of the cross. You notice that he did it a certain way . I will let you that Carla is a member of the cult. A recruiter for lost souls like Dora .

In the ocean where the sharks be at
Rust and Martin have never let up on
the hunt for the yellow king........
They know he is protected by very powerful people.
(the rich white snuff film crowd)
they are blowing smoke up those cops
asses because they no longer trust no one but each
other............(even if they loath each other)

Everyone on the force thinks these nikkas solved the case, but they just got put on game about the Yellow King. And since dude plugged wit some powerful nikkas, I think that falling out they supposedly had (previewed it in the next ep) was just to throw everyone off their trail. Have everyone thinking that the case is dead & they're beefing, but still on the low trying to catch a big fish:banderas:

If some people within or close to the Task Force knows about this "Yellow King" then when Marty and Rust busted Ladoux they were probably like...

:leon:

"Great job detectives"... because they really know that he isn't the guy. Rust mentions it in this last episode to Marty, "You ever wonder why they wanted to hand the case off to the task force so fast?"

Reopening the case will make these people in high places give Rust the :camby: because they know the deal. Can't wait to see what happens and what really is going on

I think its clear the reason that Rust doesn't want the cops to see his storage unit is because he's probably recreated every possible "Yellow King" crime scene/idea in his head in the hopes of trying to understand and figure out the killer. I think this will lead to the obvious mistaken identity scenario with us finding out who the real killer is but Rust getting blamed for it and justice not really being served.
