Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
damn how fast can a breh learn serviceable Portuguese. I have a year and some change to learn before I go.

:patrice: Maybe I should go to Rio first and do Salvador later when I have a sense of the country.

:mjcry: I wish I had a partna who spoke that language.
a year :wtf: you can damn near become an intermediary portugues speaker if you put the time in to study

My portuguese was passable back then, I'd imagine I sounded like a toddler to them, but to my own ears I was the man :francis:

When I stayed long term the woman I was seeing was my mouthpiece and helped me learn much quicker.
How long did you stay?

Why did I think you was Afro-Latino this whole time? :skip:

That's awesome you learned though. You can always improve. :salute:

I am bound by no country or arbitrary lines, we all family :blessed:

I honestly felt it would be idiotic to go to a country and not make the effort to learn their language.

Almost a full six months, I was going to stay illegally once my Visa was up too. I had an easy way to circumvent their laws, lets just say there would have been a Brazilian right now that was half Malta :tbn:
