also watched the wailing, but I thought the shyt was trash. honestly didn't even finish. shyt was a chore to watch.

The heck, the wailing was a masterpiece and I thought that without even getting all the references. I actually preferred it over train to busan - it's storyline was too linear lol.

Have to agree there, the wailing was a masterpiece, although it was quite linear in its own right, especially after having seen it for a second time. It's quite simillar to the witch in that regard. The ending did blow my mind though..... because it was playing mind games with our assumptions.

That's because it was a mash of different religions and superstitions....from what I garnered it was pretty much a battle royale between demons and spirits.
