Pulp Fiction wasn't great, Tarantino has other movies in his catalog that puts it to shame on any given day.

Reservoir Dogs is another one that had me drowsy throughout.

Se7en was alright, the twist at the end was one of the only good things about it, but it was so damn predictable.

Raiders Of The Lost Ark... :snoop: this is the one and only "Indiana Jones" movie I've even seen and I had enough.

Twelve Monkeys ...:camby: 2 GOAT actors in Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis... but still.

Dude literally mentioned some of my favorite movies of all time :damn:

I love the Coen Bros, and it had nothing to do with the accents, but Fargo is overrated as hell, even after multiple viewings, i don't get what's so great about it.

Also, the original Oldboy. I don't think i've ever figured out a twist in my life watching any movie except for this one :demonic:, very disappointing :shaq2:

Agree with people saying Casino and Shutter Island.

Never saw the hype around the Lord of the Rings movies
:damn:

thats wild. I like the first one the best, but I got high one day and I was just :mindblown: by the fact that JRR Tolkein created this entire universe with lore and mythos. Peter Jackson did phenomenal with those films, the battle of helmsdeep was :damn: :damn:

Welp........fukk it.

Star Wars.....other than Empire.
Lord Of The Rings.....they're cool, but :yeshrug:
The Usual Suspects....great on first/second watch. Mediocre after.
Spirited Away.....couldn't even finish it
The Shining....just don't see it....and I like Kubrick
Ben Hur.....meh. Spartacus is much better imo
Witness For The Prosecution....pretty standard courtroom drama, and I'm a Billy Wilder STAN
Heat....Thief is better. Too many irrelevant story tangents
Scarface......most overrated film of all-time.
Ingmar Bergman......everything but the Seventh Seal has bored the shyt out of me.

That's probably enough.

*ducks*
agreed breh

wild strawberries was meh.. i'm legit terrified to watch fanny and alexander because i can hardly get through his 80-90 min flicks..let alone one THAT long

The Hurt Locker - good for entertainment but is as realistic and laughable as Top Gun

LOTR trilogy - everything good is pure and white...everything bad is black and ugly. Not to mention the badass Black Uruk orcs have a white hand painted on their face to show who their master is. smh at the subtle 'cism :stopitslime:

The Hangover - not that funny

The Town - Replace the all white cast with an all black/hispanic/asian cast and NOBODY gives a fukk. Average bad guy trying to go straight movie.

The Big Lewbowski - saw it once and don't really care to see it again

Blade 2 - overhyped to fukking boliva breh....dat ninja fight CGI :mjlol:

Dexter- 1st season was good. After that shyt got terrible

OZ- Five seasons of men raping each other. :scusthov:

Star wars - I have seen all of them and although the idea of samurais in space is cool idea these movies don't hold up.

Holding up and being good/bad are completely different. The original trilogy is undeniable and overall great, but they don't stand the test of time very well. To say the original trilogy is trash is just blasphemy to me, sorry. I'm that guy smfh.

Even though this isn't specific:

Most horror films.

They often have the shyttiest concepts with the most forgettable casts throughout the entire film industry (because most of them are designed to die), then the horror itself is often executed in the sloppiest way possible, often relying on jump scares or grotesque sights for shock factor. This isn't true horror to me, and most people who watch horror films just eat it up. It seems like the people who watch these films mostly do it just to say that they watched it, and walk away from the experience without retaining any sense of satisfaction from it. Granted, there's always exceptions, but horror films are often just a flavor of the month kind of deal that's to be forgotten within a few months.
