This list makes no sense and this is exactly what's wrong with the media now. They present half facts and twist things to make 1 party look good.
1. GOW did not outsell FIFA, NBA 2k, Far Cry and COD WWII in any sense or fashion. What you see here is a twist to make GOW look good in terms of sales.

It's a list of the highest selling games of the year. That's it. Nothing more nothing less. As we get farther into the year the list will change.
There's no agenda,no twisting. It's just a list of what games have sold the most so far in 2018. It's no different than listing which movies have the grossed the most in box office.
They update the list every month throughout the year. Because it's from a company who's job it is to track sales

Yakuza sold more than Sea of Thieves.Of course Sea Of Thieves sold more than Yakuza/Ni No Kuni. Anyone expecting otherwise knows absolutely nothing about video games. Yakuza/Ni No Kuni are niche games that the vast majority of gamers will never have heard of, games with tiny marketing budgets that get little to no attention in the media.
Meanwhile Sea Of Thieves got a huge push by Microsoft, got a huge push on twitch. had massive visibility in the media and is Microsoft's biggest release of the year...and still flopped.

NOBODY as in the OP/the writer of the article or anyone in this thread explicitly said that this list is a definitive TOP 10 BEST SOLD GAMES AS OF 2018. No, it's TOP 10 best selling games OF 2018 meaning just this year. If someone lacks reading comprehension it is the fault of their ignorance, not the content itself(in most cases.)

I don't bother with these fools anymore. I know it hurts when they get called out and meet look stupid, but it is what it is. They were here talking about all kinda exclusives and killing off Xbox when they can't say the major exclusive Xbox has dropped in 2018 .they even said MLB sold more than Madden. I have no energy to be fighting these lost weirdos. My time is more vvaluable than that. Honestly, I don't even have have enough time in the day to cover all my tasks. Look at @Fatboi1 for example.
