i usually try to stay out of these religion bashing threads but are we really going to pretend that islamic arabs didn't have a slave trade of their own? breh?? both christianity and islam have rules and guidelines about slavery but as we both know their practitioners tend not practice what they preach.

There were Islamic leaders who drank wine and fornicated too, that doesnt have anything to do with Islam as a religion. Slavery was an economic reality long ago, Islam was the first way of life that came about with a system of freeing slaves and elevating former slaves. That's a big reason why Islam took hold in africa , not because someone put a sword to their necks and told them to convert or die.

How would the Quran haviing verses that say its virtuous to free slaves contradict the history books which state the British empires forced Muslims to end slavery?

And again I'm not making an argument, and I'm not trying to counter your argument about Islam having a kinder gentler form of slavery, i made a statement and I proved my statement is factual, your mumbo jumbo about kinder gentler Islamic slavery doesn't contradict my statement

The point was i dont understand how the hardcore black guy is going super saiyan on Islam bashing in light of more pressing issues to his communities

It would be the equivalent of going super hard on jews whens theres more pressing issues to my community (ie. afghans Aint shyt)

breh are you dense? How is american slavery any diferent from the Islamic slavery? It was still slavery!! Christianity took off in Africa for the same fukking same fukking reasons. plus you pretty much said what I said practitioners of both islam and christianity do not practice what they preach! There is no kinder gentler slavery especially when said already had a slave institution in place!
