Maybe I’m too bougie but I spent the first 7 years of my life in St Louis city. I saw way too much as a kid and could barely come outside because of gun battles and drug paraphernalia on the sidewalks. I’ll admit I’m scared. Too many stray bullets. These fools can’t aim and are shooting at innocent people. Last year was one of the worst years I remember of innocent bystanders getting shot and killed in north count and the city. I ain’t about that life and I carry.

That said, I'm comfortable in 'foreign' hoods bc im ados and if i wasn't, i wouldn't ever be able to visit family and friends, esp coming up. I came up in the new jack city era of harlem, we was hopscotching over crack vials, and we still currently ducking bullets out here too. #adoslife

That’s already confirmed that she’s an LSA poster. she’s not the only one with an account; except mine is not active, for a reason. Useful for when chicks like her like to get out of pocket or breach with their invasive tactics

This is all facts. But I’m not going to lie and say it was that level of “new jack city-ish” in Queens during that era for my time. Back when Queens was like the middle class black enclave with houses and yards. I have family in St. Louis city and in bad parts of st Louis county. I’m not visiting them because stray bullets don’t care about my ancestors being slaves. I dunno about the places you been but I’m not willing to take a chance on catching a bullet meant for somebody else or getting shot because they wanna jack my car. As much as I can’t stand @BrothaZay the crime here is unreal. We already past last years murders during a lockdown. I got kids so areas filled with crime is a no go.
