Its going to get better. Just dont do anything to fukk up your future.

Praying on it

Why not go back to your parents for a bit?

I know its somewhat emasculating but if your situation is really this bad, maybe the best thing you can do is come home and stack some bread.

Can’t leave my roommate hanging like that, plus he always covers whatever I don’t have. I just hate this damn struggle

breh get them certs
I got that EMT cert, tryna get pharmacy tech certified

It sounds stressful. Here's how you get out the cycle...

1. Understand that it isn't going to happen overnight. You ain't get here overnight and you're not gonna get out overnight. Embrace it and accept that.

2. Deep down I'm willing to bet that you know exactly what you need to do to change your life. But why aren't you doing it? Because you were programmed to... everything you did is based off your decisions... your decisions is based off of your thinking and your emotions.

3. What you think determines how you feel, how you feel determines what you DO and what you DO determines your results.

4. Work on changing your thinking and your emotions... your actions will change completely and so will your results.

5. You can go hardcore and completely change your situation in 6 months... I was once in a situation just like you... I now make $2k a week after taxes and live comfortably... or you can ignore me and keep up with your bad habits giving you bad results. The choice is yours.

6. Ready for a change? Good. Start reading... here's my suggestions.

- (Why am I poor and struggling?) This book answers why from a technical perspective. Read it! Then read this book. Read it!

- (How can I get myself into a better situation) This book will explain how to change.

Good luck breh :francis:

This is quality advice and here is some more on the back end of that. This is what I did to master my own bad finacial habits at that age....

Get a composition notebook and label it "The TRUTH"

Write down everything you honestly spend your money on even the shyt you don't talk about to yourself meaning....

Weed Store/Plug
Escorts/Strip Club
Porn subscriptions
Eating out
Buying Alcohol

Start a one page summary of your Credit Score and finances and see where your money is going and start small save 200 a month if you can.

Brooklyn!!!!!
Make a budget and track your spending. Write down everything you buy. Even if it’s a 50 cent bag of chips. It holds you accountable for frivolous spending and you can see where most of your money is going.
You have a roommate. You really shouldn’t have absolutely nothing left after a payday.

EVERYBODY is living check to check; even the people that you think are ballin'.

Right now there is a chick somewhere that dont date guys with Android phones but sleeps on someones couch.

A woman actually said this shyt to you? :mjlol:Dating in 2018 is pretty much survival sex.

Packing his bags and moving back with the parents at age 24 is not emasculating at all in the year 2018. Sure 10 years ago he would’ve got clowned but it’s real out there for these young people. In fact I suggest more young blacks do that and save money instead of being in a rush to move out just so they can be broke every month. That’s not living.

That's reality. Life is hard. If you arent a little anxious about something then you aren't busy doing the right things or working hard enough.

Its hard but things can get even harder and it is important to put things into perspective.

Things getting harder is a certainty nowadays breh.

If you don't know how to budget or at least have a plan of where your money going you will always struggle unless your legitimately wealthy. There's no point to where you can rest easy, financial ruin is one disaster away :yeshrug:

The game is rigged for us to lose brehs...we just gotta lose as comfortable as possible :francis:

You telling me? My parents showed me how real it was out here where I pretty much get it. Growing up, my mom would actually hold down two or three jobs while raising us at one point. I notice you have a lot of folks that don't want to work or struggling with one job but got the time to do a whole lot of unnecessary shyt. Either you gotta hustle harder like get a second job or two to keep up or you gotta live below your means to have money left over.

Sometimes there's people who are just in a struggle against their will and other times people be putting themselves in some shyt by choice.
