I have 4 nephews aged 9 to 16. Since im the uncle they’re a bit more open around me than their parents. I realized that there’s no way parents can have any idea what their kids are up to online these days.

My oldest nephew does movie watch parties on discord. He mostly plays fortnite but his discord chats be poppin. I just KNOW they’re talking about all kinds of fukkery on it. His parents don’t even know wtf discord is. My youngest nephew is always on roblox and he’s sneaky af so I know he’s probably on the demonic roblox wave.

We have a rule that they can only use these electronic devices in our presence specifically at the table so they can't hide what they're doing and I have no problem taking it away for a whole school quarter

Yea my kid got up on Piggy during the pandemic when kids did remote learning. Now he plays this regularly, but also some of the other Roblox games. We even got a lil’ YouTube channel he uploads content on.

It’s wild how Piggy evolved into its own thing tho…items In Walmart and Target and you wouldn’t know it’s a Roblox spinoff, or that it’s a ripoff of Peppa Pig
