"100% Aframs" is not the same thing as "100% African"...Aframs are mixed by default
Someone that is 26% non-black is an exception rather than the rule for African Americans. Most times African Americans are between 19% and 9% non-black, with a minority being above (i.e. you) and below (i.e. Oprah Winfrey, who is over 90% black and has no white ancestry) that level. To say that AAs are "mixed" is wrong inasmuch as there are some who aren't or for all intents and purposes aren't.

That's the point of the thread to those who say otherwise and think you need to have a white parent for diversity or "blacks" have only one look
Blacks have a prototypical look. The existence of groups like AAs does not change that fact. AAs are an exception, not the rule for blacks. Similar is true for Brazilians. You can't judge the black race off of people whom technically are not black (that, for these purposes, includes a selection of African Americans). I remember reading a study wherein some of the black-identified people did not even have 10% black ancestry. You can't characterize the black race through a group like AAs which include people whom are variously 90% non-black.
