LBJ is not a better scorer than Kobe breh
Kobe was a threat from anywhere on the court and even had the 2nd best post up game of any perimeter player not named MJ..
LBJ has never been a good shooter. If he's not getting the hole, he's pretty marginal offensively.

And Kobe didn't come into league with the freedom and keys to the franchise like LBJ did so the fact that he's only 2 points behind LBJ is a testament to his dominance.

Scoring more at higher efficiency makes you a better scorer. As for the jump shot issue, 2008-14 would prove that claim to be a lie (he just averaged 25/7/6 on 50% shooting this season largely minus a jump shot), and as for the whole coming into the league with the keys, that simply means that he wasn't as good out the gate. If Kobe were able to contribute at a high level out the gate, he would have been getting more than 15 minutes a game. James was out there averaging 21/5/6 or something along those lines as a teenager. Kobe "only" averages 2 less per game because he indiscriminately would chuck away regardless of what situation the lakers were in.

Or is Shaq's sheer dominance and efficiency make him a better scorer? You're arguing that Kobe's versatility is better than Lebron's sheer consistency and dominance.

How would you say Kobe has a better killer instinct than Lebron in clutch situations when Lebron has more game winning shots, on less attempts, in the playoffs? Or that Lebron is probably the greatest elimination game performer we've seen?

Thats a lazy comparison. Brook Lopez has accomplished nothing of worth in the NBA. So comparing him to Shaq is irrelevant in the grand scheme of the conversation as we are talking about two top 10 players all time.

I think you guys are missing that I am AGREEING with you that LBJ is the better player. But if we are talking solely scoring, solely shooting the basketball; if we are talking offensive fundamentals of the game, I believe Kobe is superior. If you think Bron is better at scoring the ball then ok. But I have explained my point 7 times already and you Bron stans just don't like my opinion, it seems.

More points on fewer shot attempts = a better scorer. Style doesn't make a difference. All that matters is who puts the ball in the basket more effectively, regardless of where they are on the floor.

Whether the made shots come off shots in the paint or off jumpers is not relevant. All that matters in regards to asking who the better scorer is is a combination of scoring volume and efficiency. LeBron scores more on much higher efficiency, and he's also a better 3 point shooter than Kobe too.
