Kobe ever do what LBJ just did?

So Kobe has playoff games like the 48 special, the 45 on the road in game 7, a 39/8/8 series, shutting down the MVP like LeBron did in 2011, that 40/18/9 game 4, the 45/15/5 game 6, back to back triple doubles in the finals, that game 7 against the Spurs, a finals like 2015, or a finals like 2016?

Understand one thing my brethren. I am not arguing that LBJ isn't dominant. I think he's a better all around player than Kobe, meaning he's does more things better on a bball court.

I only said that LeBron does not have that killer instinct that Kobe and MJ had. A killer instinct means that when he's on the court, he's trying to step on your neck. Doesn't want to be friends with you. Talks trash to you and backs it up. LBJ is too nice of a guy. He defers a lot to his teammates whereas MJ and Kobe says "give me the ball and get out of my way". Two different types of players.

Not saying thats a bad thing though. Relax.

LBJ is an all time great but you'd be a fool if you actually believed he harbors the same killer instinct mentality that Kobe and MJ had.

If dat was da case we wouldn't be callin him a 3x champion, 3x FMVP, 4xMVP, and multiple individual NBA record holda right now.

You don't accomplish da shyt he has without havin killa instinct.

Specially afta what he just did dis past June.

Not all predators hunt da same. :francis:

So a killer instinct is frowning? If LeBron does everything better, then what difference does this magic killer instinct make? Are you praising his being a ball hog who refuses to pass the ball even when tripled? Are you praising his predicable nature in the clutch?

Agreed, not all predators hunt the same. LBJ is more like Tim Duncan not Kobe and MJ. LBJ is not a killer assassin on the court. He's dominant yes. But he's not of the same fold as MJ and bean. He's not someone thats gonna snatch your heart out of your chest time and time again in the 4th qtr with 7 seconds left on the clock down 2 by draining a huge bucket in your face like Kobe or MJ.

LeBron is 9 for 19 in the playoffs under 24 seconds and the shot will either tie or give his team the lead. Kobe was 7 for 28

First Kobe recognizes him, now MJ. The only player in the L with that rare alpha dog, cold blooded killer instinct in him. Thats what fueled Bird, Jordan, Kobe, Isiah Thomas and Magic. Its a rare gene and he's the ONLY player in the NBA with it right now.
Where was that "rare gene cold blooded killer instinct" when his team had THREE motherfukking chances to close out the Western Conference Finals?

No. I'm praising the fact that MJ had the ability to take it another level that other players can't fathom. Basketball is 85 % mental and 15% Physical in my opinion. If you get the mental edge on your opponent, you've already won. LBJ doesn't strike that kind of fear in the hearts of opposing NBA players like MJ did and its obvious.

I'm acknowledging that he's an all time great and top 5 in my book but it seems as if you guys want him to be compared mentally to MJ and Kobe and tha'ts just not accurate.

Kobe took a lot bad shots :yeshrug: Thats no secret. I'd still want the ball in his hands with the game on the line as opposed to LBJ and I'm sure many would agree with me.

The same could be asked about Bron in 2011 Finals :yeshrug:Every great has bad games breh.
